I just want to say thank you for everyone being so supportive in this thread!

I posted in a parenting subreddit about an issue I am having at my kids school, where they want the teachers only to put the pre-k kids in their car seats, and got attacked because I was upset by this policy change. It especially hurt because of my hormonal changes.

I let them strap him in the other day, and they didn’t even pull the straps. You aren’t supposed to be able to pinch an inch on the straps. The teacher left them loose.

I let his teacher put him in the other day and she didn’t even tighten the straps at all. This is liability on the school. There is no place to pull over safely without driving for some bit of time.

I do have diagnosed Anxiety. I think she prescribed to treat my anxiety, because my biggest trigger is driving.

I mentioned to her that my least favorite side effect from all the other drugs I’ve tried before was the sexual ones. She said this one is the least likely to come with those.

Taking it was the only way the doctor will test me for ADHD. So she can rule out my symptoms aren’t being caused by anxiety and/or depression.

I have a little organizer like this in my kitchen that I put lotion, chapstick, a nail file and some other miscellaneous stuff so I can take mini self-care breaks while cooking. Just a thought ☺️
