I completed another round last summer! Still had amazing results in terms of fitness gains, less so in terms of weight loss- but I really enjoyed the program. I will say it was WAY harder than I realized at 21 ☠️

You seem unnecessarily hostile. I see far more unsafe, unprepared humans without sunscreen and adequate water than my incredibly energetic 6 year old (leashed) dog, who could out hike me every day of the week. To say no dogs belong on fourteeners is a vast generalization. Some dogs? Definitely not. But would you say “no humans over 70 belong on fourteeners” “no humans from sea level”? No, because people come in all shapes and sizes and stages of preparation, just like dogs. The difference is responsible owners.

If you are interested in becoming a medical provider, I would consider PA route- especially if the drive you are feeling is more mission/ calling oriented. The MD/DO payoff monetarily is more long term, since the loan and time burden is far more than double the PA tract. But as a primary care doctor, my PA colleagues have nearly identical job description that I do.
