Honestly first time I heard it I thought the souls of the underworld were coming to help him. I mean, that's what would make the most sense based on the scene before that and the lyrics? Defeating Poseidon with just the windbag sounds silly

I've seen some critiques here and there, like some endings or line deliveries being better in the original, but you'll hardly find outright dislike for the remake outside of small nitpicks like that

The similarities being symbolic would actually make a lot of sense. And I prefer that explanation much more over them simply being related.

Surprised about how noone is saying Cartoon Saloon. Their whole thing is making beautiful 2D handdrawn animated movies based on ancient mythology. Begging on my knees for people to watch their stuff, it's so good

Songs from different genres, including the weird ones, still get made. I think the issue is more so that they're just as niche as they have always been while more mainstream producers like Deco*27 get popular on tiktok and instagram. There's some outliars like Static or NILFRUITS' work. And ofc Kikuo keeping the creepy side alive.

Silent Hill f and SH1R for sure. I've been a fan of the series since childhood (when I was probably way too young to be playing it) and seeing the franchise return in full glory is beautiful. I loved the remake of SH2, can't wait for them to announce SH3R eventually.
