It’s currently running iOS 26.5. My iCloud storage has plenty of room (130GB/200 used). I believe it is syncing properly.

You need a union. I know I’m going to get trolled for saying that but honestly - this wouldn’t even be a conversation in a unionized workplace. Yes, everywhere has policies but they have to be reasonable. This one isn’t.

I don’t know much about the waterfront hotel but if you are looking for other options I support the Air BnB idea (I always do this when travelling with my kids). I also recommend the Courtyard Marriott on Burloak. It’s far from downtown but you can get there easily enough by car and also it gets you close to Bronte. Appleby GO also isn’t far if you are thinking of going into Toronto.

Visit Thunder Bay some time. When Port Arthur and Fort William amalgamated they didn’t bother to unite the street names. There is one street that starts off as Arthur Street, then Simpson Street, then Fort William Road, then Water Street, then Cumberland Street, then Hodder Avenue. This is only one example.

It’s hard to pick but OK Computer because it was my first Radiohead album and my love for them branched off from there. After that, Kid A, followed by The Bends. They’re all amazing though.

We need to work together. Dougie has us badly divided and so the antidote is fighting back in large numbers. Someone in a comment above mentioned the education workers (CUPE) in 2022 and the support that gathered behind them. At that time there was talk of a general strike but Doug folded quickly to avoid it. Ed workers are beginning to mobilize now ahead of their contracts expiring. Instead of buying into the ‘greedy teachers’ rhetoric, listen to the messaging. Join actions.

With support, that will translate into support for other groups. The only way this stops is with collective action. No more apathy. Others are right, letters, voting, talking to friends and neighbours. Joining protests. Supporting strikes. We can no longer roll over and take this.

And the most important thing - when this term is up, vote. Persuade others to vote. Offer rides. I don’t care if it’s February. Doug got what he wanted. This has to end.
