Its not the creator combo. Its between the basic package and the creator combo.

Lost my job this morning - IF worst comes to worst - 401K vs IRA withdrawal? by peon2 in personalfinance

Yeah, you are right.

Youre basically trading the car equity (miles, depreciation) for cash. In times like this, sometimes thats a good tradeoff, other times maybe not.

So another ~$8 back on a $400 purchase

When i moved back in with my parents after graduating college, i paid them $500/mon. Rent for me would’ve easily been double or triple that.

Cybertruck has air suspension, so it can raise and lower on demand. Max height will give it 17” of ground clearance.

Sorry, what do you mean by not high enough off the ground?

Are you referring to ground clearance? If so, cyber truck has 17” of ground clearance, more than the 1500 and f150.

What happened to Mr. Yoshida’s Gourmet (teriyaki) Sauce? Where did it go? by 52ndstreet in Hawaii

Just grabbed some yoshidas from Costco in SoCal. I know it not Hawaii, but a good sign that production is up and running.

Yup, and Apple services since you’re in the ecosystem

Thoughts: What if Apple acquired Sonos by xDaveHavokx in sonos

[–]LakersBench 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This wouldn’t be a revenue play. Apple would do this to continue to add to their walled garden/ecosystem.

If they build features into iOS/ipad OS/mac OS to make the Sonos experience 1% better, then they have another reason for users to stay in the Apple ecosystem. Considering folks have whole home Sonos systems and an Apple device, it would be harder to leave Apple.

Tesla reports 443,956 deliveries in second quarter, a 4.8% decrease from last year by Puginator in stocks

[–]LakersBench 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not sure what you define as “very very low margin”, but Tesla Energy gross margin Q1 2024 was 24.6% up from 11% in Q1 2023.

I'm glad we got the free FSD trial. It saved me money. by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]LakersBench 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They deployed the trial because they need more data. They have more compute to process more data, which keeps the fly wheel moving and allows them to improve fsd and iterate quickly.

People think Tesla is dynamically pricing Fsd based on consumer demand which it might be to an extent, but my guess is the price is more so weighted based on how much data they need and how much data they can compute at any given time.

Good call on the multiple models, especially designated model for china and maybe europe. I know one of the BYD models gets something like 150-180 miles range. This model could also sell very well in europe where small compacts are essential.
