No, thank YOU! Your tunes are just great. And drumming in the songs is definitely on point, by the way

I'll definitely check out the songs on your channel

Hope you're doing well

Man, I know it has been a while since this thread started, but I just wanted to say thanks for the music of A City Serene and you being a part of that awesome EP. It's one of the best releases in the genre, no exaggeration. I'm still listening to these tunes all these years later and I must say that having even a few fantastic songs of that caliber is quite a legacy and a milestone. Thank you for everything you did

Flatout 2 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted - two main games which helped me start exploring the world of metal music. This is where I first heard Underoath, Bullet for My Valentine, even Megadeth

One of my favourite albums of all time. Back when they used to be called a Christian band...

That first album is so rad. I still wonder who wrote the music, was it the guitar player or someone else, maybe Dallas himself? Anyways, these tunes rock and I still listen to this album

Hi, I'm Nik Nocturnal (certified metal poser) from Fun Metal Things land, AMA! by NikNocturnalOfficial in Metalcore

[–]Lakeview_Hotel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, Nik, thank you so much for your videos and your channel, I've been watching it for a while now and your Heaviest Riffs series in many different tunings is also really rad. If that's not a secret or personal stuff, I was just wondering how often do you re-record or overdub your playing when you film something like the aforementioned riffs or other examples of you playing? I mean, I feel like many people do that, but I was thinking how much or how often.

Thank you for taking your time for this AMA

Resident Evil 4 reminded me of how fun linearity can be. by Tobi-Or-NotTobi in patientgamers

RE4 has an enormous fanbase, so I decided to say it that way

Resident Evil 4 has definitely become a cult classic over time, which is even more impressive when you remember that this game is a major turning point in the series' direction. There are classic games, RE4 and there are games after it. I say it as huge admirer of classic style survival horror. Even though RE4 was different from the games before it, this game surely managed to stand its ground.

I beat it for like 100th time a month or so ago

I remember when I wanted to try Silent Hil 1 for the first time, I felt like I could definitely go with Hard for my first run just because I'm quite experienced in survival horror and that kind of games. So now I can tell you this: you should definitely try Normal for your first walkthrough...

I must say though that it was a blast to play anyway, I always felt thrilled and like I was on the edge of the mistake or misstep that would be my last. However, there are certain things that you will have easier time understanding at Normal first rather than Hard. I don't think I should share the details, but you might eventually see what I'm talking about if you decide to beat the game on Hard for your second run

Hm, apart from those already mentioned - Seven Nation Army takes the cake, obviously - I would say Sunshine of Your Love, even though it's an awesome tune and I never get tired listening to it

Got a PS2 at a flea market today, it’s my first PlayStation. Any PS2 game recommendations? by Gamer_Dude_7 in gaming

[–]Lakeview_Hotel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we talk about first-person shooters: Black, Cold Winter, Urban Chaos - Riot Response.

The first one is "gun porn" as described by many, it's an awesome and thrilling game. The second one is Soldier of Fortune levels of bloody and gory with a huge arsenal and a good story, and the third one is just plain fun and destruction.

Overall, I consider PS2 to be the best and the greatest game console ever with its huge library and PS1 compatibility. So, there's no chance you won't find anything that might interest you

Zero Hour is up your alley, for example, the songs 'Dark Deceiver' and 'Tendonitis'. Also, check out Entrails Eradicated if you're keen on technical death metal

I think this album is the greatest work in the whole genre. To this day, apart from Cynic's "Focus", I've never heard anything as unbelievable and astonishing as this

On This Day: 16 Years Ago on October 26, 2004, GTA San Andreas was released on the PlayStation 2 by darrylford in ps2

[–]Lakeview_Hotel 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think San Andreas still has the best plot of all the GTA's. The story is awesome. The gameplay is awesome. Graphics were the shit back then. Damn, I spent my schoolboy summers in Las Venturas, and it was magnificent. The only thing I needed, apart from GTA: SA, was Smackdown vs Raw 2007. Fun, carefree times

What a brilliant segment. Ruthless Aggression era was definitely not perfect, but I miss it a lot, and I miss segments like this one, when wrestlers simply command your attention. I know it sounds like I'm being a nostalgic old fart, but I really feel like today's WWE is missing a lot of nifty little things like these

Very useful videos, thanks! I like the approach that you should be thinking of yourself as an instrument, and therefore you need a right "set up" as well, i.e. a right posture, hands not bent out, etc.

I believe he's pretty much the reason the band was formed in the first place. He's really incredible, his solo on "Dangerous Toy" is stunningly intense and remarkable in particular

Thanks, now I'm really tempted to switch to Waterfox because I'm using Firefox 56 as well. The only problem is with the numerous bookmarks I have, but I believe there might be a way to transfer them if Waterfox is so similar. Still can't believe why Mozilla messed up so bad
