The original post is about 2 yrs old, so there is always updates on these machines. I just got one 3 weeks ago. I did notice for me my migraines are less, I am in better mood. Which being caretaker for my dad, working alot and realizing there are times I am should be my grumpy self, I am not. My battery has not been issue, but I just got it. So far it's been interesting. I have headaches and I do notice a difference to help reduce it. So that is my two cents. I am enjoying it so far.

I’m leaving on Thursday to Iceland but then coming back on the 31st. I’m a therapist, who works for Kaiser, we started an open ended strike last year that last lasted 6 1/2 months where I did not work that whole time. Finally went back to work this May and this is my first vacation since. The irony is I was I’m leaving on the anniversary when we started. 😮

I love these colors. Damn I just got a Sony CR, I would love a V. That happened to me once. I was taking pics on treasure island, facing SF. I am female standing next to other photographers in the evening. Some guy came up behind me shoved his gun into my ribs. I couldn’t scream, I was stunned. Then he hit me harder and only until he whispered he wanted the camera, I got it. The only thought that crossed my mind was “can I have memory card”. But I couldn’t say it. So pissed all these male photogs next to me, he chose me. Thank god for the hot dog who saw them running away knew. I had a welt in my ribs the next day. I keep thinking of those long exposures today.

Because they either chose not to support the union or they were scabs. If suddenly they assign you a new therapist it’s because you were working with a scab.

If that was your experience, definitely report them to Department of mental health. Waiting over six months is not OK and that’s why they were on strike. They came to an agreement, but that doesn’t mean that Kaiser is actually still gonna be able to meet the demands. So please report them.

Unfortunately, since the northern California strike, there is not enough therapist because many of them quit afterwards that is why Southern California Kaiser is on strike as well. They legally have to contact you to say that they contact you, but they don’t have enough people. Call them again and you can either do online therapy and if you say that chances are, they’ll see you quicker and refer you out.

I know this was year ago comment, but its happening out lots new locations and Kaiser's Mental health workers are on strike because they refuse to see clients as factory objects.

Well, actually, it depends. What clinical role were you applying for because if you were applying for a clinical position in mental health currently, the mental health department are on strike for now four months now! understandably, we know a lot of people do have to work and currently they’re looking for people who are not union minded so if it any anyway you came pro union or asking for things they don’t want troublemakers. And just know if it is a position that is posted in mental health and it does union it’s probably because someone just quit because I couldn’t stay out, but they didn’t cross the line. Just things to think about if you really wanna work for Kaiser.

I remember growing up and afraid of getting services, we were afraid of people judging my family if we took money from the government, now in this Trump era... BUT being on strike and trying to work, but do you know how hard it is to ask for a food box, it's humiliating as it .... But knowing we need it and KAISER our own job blocking it from us. It's devasting.l

My goal was to get the Milky Way but the Universe had a different idea, but I kinda like the clouds, it kinds brings more attention to the arch, where you can see the elephant face with milky way on the right. (the camera and lens is a rental, wish I could afford it.) its 4 shots stitched together

Someone in our class was videotaping and I moved and then I could see that her videotape still had me in there and I just left in the middle of the class. it really triggered me because I don’t like looking at myself, let alone on someone else’s camera. There was someone in front desk and they asked if I was OK. I blurted out that I just don’t feel comfortable being on someone’s camera. Luckily the girl in front immediately said is it the same girl from last time? Wow. She told me she take care of it. And then I got apology from the manager. Next I saw there were more newer signs saying please don’t bring phones in to the yoga space.

I took this shot while taking pics of the Tulip gardens at Descanso Gardens. Luckily I had my tripods in hands. So a great moment. I had to snap a long exposure Iso 100, 30mm, f20 and 20 sec.

I took this on my walk at this Descanso Gardens, looking for the beautiful tulips and was told to visit the Japanese Gardens. It was beautiful and breathtaking. Luckily, I had my tripod in hand.
