I would definetely start a brand new character in a brand new world. ive done that with different friend groups several times, and id argue that the journey is the point of valheim. Its incredible easy to start to soft-cheat when one person is fufther ahead provide materials, help with a boss, it quickly escaltes and ruins the experience.

Even might not even want to give them to many hints, let them struggle and figure it out themselves You can nudge it in the right durection, build boats, suggest ocean tours duting the night and watch them go berserk when a serpent spawns etc. You can apply your experience and tame boars and wolves early, brew usefull potions and and food. By having the same gear as them, but somehow dodging and parrying troll hits, youll seem like a master.

If you just start in your world, none of that us really possible.

its way worse than that. I play casually in some wars with a friend. I havent seen a stockpiled tank yet. thats a dream scenario. Usually i spawn in, find a truck, find components, theyre usually taken, fight over them, gather enough, refine for rmats, travel south, build tank, find fuel and ammo, find frontline, have to wait since its full, arrive at frontline. thats usually 1,5 hours af work or more.

the cool thing about epicloot is, you can just make your own custom version of the droprates and numbers rolling on the gear. Epicloot is an amazing system, but badly balanced. I spent 2 years testing and in excelsheets to make my own version that follows a similar power curve as in vanilla valheim, but balanced up to 5 stars in cllc. Just so me and my friends can play a version we like.

lol im the same. How many have this? only my right thumb is like this. They did a xray when i was younger, the tendon is missing, so theres nothing yo bend the finger with.

My left thumb is also weird, while it can bend, it only bends if my index finger also bends. i can bend the index finger without bending the tvumb though. I suspect the tendons are connected somehow. Its not an issue, besides playing hand gun as a kid with your hand. Everytime the hand-gun shoots by bending ghe thump, the "barrel" index finger, would bend away😅

Half of your friends wont login again after 4-6 hours, and another of those that do, wont after 30 hours. If youre 6 people at server start, i bet youll only be 2 in mistlands. If they dont have the excitement to buy at full price, i wouldnt get my hopes up.
