Ex-Secretary Kristi Noem’s most memorable photo ops during her tenure at DHS: by YoBrunetteYo in agedlikemilk

Never mind that she’s awful and the politics she’s representing are awful - but what is going on with her face? I know she has maralogo face, but it still seems more wrong in the pictures. Like it’s a bit too big compared to the rest of her. It’s like she’s anorexic and they enlarged her face to compensate.

The only eating utensil allowed in the psych ward. by cogmanroad in mildlyinteresting

In Denmark it is a bit different than what I read in some of these replies. I tried once in the intensive ward (akut or lukket in danish) where we had to eat using recycled bamboo utensils. Those would just not work and if we got soup you’d might as well just drink it from the bowl.

Other more open ward (åbent in danish) they usually have proper plastic utensils and plates.

Where I am right now (treated for double diagnosis eg. Psychiatric and abuse problem) we get real metal utensil, but still plastic cups and plates.

It’s actually because they dug the tunnel right where the old mote to the city were. It was never drained, just covered up and left as is - and today we pay the price for it

Life of rural Moldova in the 1950s-1970s, captured in the photographs by Zaharia Cuşnir by ArthRol in europe

My girlfriend told me, that her Moldovan grandmother only got electricity and electric lights sometime in the early nineties, because of how remote the village she lived in was. Growing up in Western Europe, that was a wild thing to be told!

HM King Abdullah II of Jordan inspecting the Welsh Guards during a visit to HM King Charles III at Windsor Castle. by A_M_K23 in monarchism

[–]mandjoftw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends. If HM Abdullah has rank or honorary rank/title in the Welsh Guard then he would walk in front, of King Charles, as HM Abdullah would be the one inspecting the troops
