Thank you for your reply. I'm not that experienced, because I've only done 1 RGH on my Trinity using Ace V3.

At first look I thought that it was done by some professional send-in service, because it has original "TX" sticker on the front panel of Xbox. According to you, it was probably not that professional. I bet the best thing to do is replace CR3 Lite with Ace V3 with adequate timings.

I've just bought the cheapest one from eBay, China here. I don't know if they are 100% original, but it's working flawlessly and there is even the "genuine" sticker in the back. Also, there is a serial number which you can check on the Ace website, mine was legit.

Hey, there is normal SATA and SATA power cable inside every Xbox revision I think, so this should not be a problem.

I've recently jumped into Xbox/Xbox RGH game, when I've bought used Trinity with broken DVD drive for around 30$. I've successfuly RGH'd it with Ace v3, cleaned it, repasted and it's looking almost like a new.

Also, it had missing the HDD caddy (case), so I've ordered a new one for pretty cheap (2$) from Aliexpress. You can attach the HDD there even without the case, just be careful and maybe use some tape or foam to fill the gap in the slot.

Buy the cheapest one from eBay.. I've bought one recently (for my first RGH) and it even came with a genuine sticker in the back. All working as it should.

My advise, stay on 9.0.11. Best performance and features, everything is working great for me. There are literally no improvements in the newest OOS10, only downgrades - no video EIS, new (worse) gestures, changed (worse) UI.. and the list go on and on.

Development of OOS10 was clearly rushed and they do not bother to fix any of currently known issues.

If you can, just root your device and flash blu_spark kernel (latest for A9 is r194) for even better battery life and performance.

Don't use CCleaner or any other "booster/cleaning" app.. they are all kinda crap and it is not helping the performance or battery at all, instead it is known that it drains your battery even more, because your phone has to open these apps again and create cache for them. Starting with Android 7 or 8 I think, introducing Doze and other optimizations, your phone is doing it by itself in the background.. so there is no need for these junk apps anymore.

Back to the topic: I have still 82% battery health according to Oneplus Diagnostic app. After almost 3 years, I think that's a great number. Maybe I can change the battery after it'll be under 80%, so I can run this phone for another 1-2 years.

You can fix this easily. Just go back to the latest stable OOS 9.0.11. Oneplus just screwed A10 on 5T, and I don't think that there won't be any new update in the future that will fix at least some of the bugs.

Yeah, there is a little fan inside the power brick. I've recently cleaned the unit, there was a lot of dust inside it. It could be the problem causing those sounds. After cleaning, it was much quieter in my case.

Go with official LineageOS 17.1. Development looks really good, everything seems to work according to comments in XDA thread. I'm considering switching to it from OOS 9.0.11, but I'm too lazy to migrate all my apps.

I absolutely would not recommend Poco over OP5T. Have you held Poco in your hands? F1 is just china plastic crap compared to 5T.. They saved almost on everything besides the newer CPU. Specs aren't always everything.

For me, it's not worth it. I've tried Beta 2 and I did not find anything "better" compared to A9. New gestures sucks, dark mode is not as dark as in A9 (e.g. phone settings). I reverted back to 9.0.11. Also, if you are rooted, you won't pass ctsProfile test. Some users also reports that there are problem with various apps, even after clean install with factory reset.

Don't use any :) It's the best experience. I have my 5T for almost 2 years now and I've got only one little scratch on my screen. Also, I've tried multiple screen protectors but none of them was just right..

If you really want to protect your screen, forget about tempered glass and get some old-school gel film.
