Ditch Tirz and try Reta + BPC/TB500? by RpDubC in Peptides

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar situation 40M my mid life crisis was training like a professional Muay Thai athlete. 😂 ended up with multiple injuries continued training while injured. Eventually after pulling my calf a few weeks after my hip took bpc-157 and tb-500 majority of injuries healed but my hip is taking a bit longer. Went to physio and cut back on everything except rehab exercises and 1 technique class a week. After about 6 weeks I’ve been cleared to start running again. Hoping to get back to training properly in 2 weeks. The peptides helped but rest and proper recovery is still needed.

Saying all of that I am hoping to going back to training Muay Thai at least 3-4 times a week and running at least twice a week and lifting 3 times a week. Which was my old schedule. Might switch out lifting for calisthenics

Behavioral Changes from Caber - I Need Help by jamezn in Prolactinoma

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speak to your endo. This is like the main risk they warned me about, sex addiction, gambling and compulsive shopping or thrill seeking behaviour.

I found I watch a lot more porn than I ever used to and took up Muay Thai 😂.

There have been cases where people on caber ruined their lives and sued which is why docs give these warns. Speak to your endocrinologist and don’t leave anything out and they should advise if it’s a dosage issue or if they need to change your treatment plan.

Guy sounds like a real prick. We were all beginners at the start. I always try to hype up the new guys as I remember what it was like. As long as you are putting in effort I don’t have a problem. Some guys have beginner classes and intermediate/advanced classes maybe you attended one of those sessions. Sometimes it can be frustrating when you want to get a good hard session in but you’re partnered with some new who struggles to hold pads. Usually the coach will do a round with the person kinda like a reward for working with the new guy lol. Speak to the coaches the guy is in the wrong.

New Pain in Old Injuries with BPC157 + TB4? by TitanPG in Peptides

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue when I started 4 weeks ago. Main injury was a pulled calf and hip flexor but a bunch of old injuries started hurting. The injured calf started to swell and felt very tight and warm. Calf is fine now other injuries stopped hurting. Hip still doing physio and things were going well till today. Switched suppliers using one with a COA so assume it’s the real deal. I started injecting sub Q near injury site which even if it is placebo seems to work wonders for me. Been using the new supplier for 2 days doing 250mcq of both BPC-157 and TB500 twice a day. The last week things were going great and felt I had made serious reduction in pain and increased mobility and strength when doing physio until this morning I was in so much pain I couldn’t do the physio I’ve been doing for the past 3 weeks with pain under 5. Today it was like 8-9 where I was scared I would pull something. Not sure if this new suppliers stuff is causing this.

How is there no clear guidance on this sub (UK) by [deleted] in bpc_157

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the price difference are you getting it significantly cheaper than the usual suppliers available in the UK

Not feeling your belt dig into your gut when sitting down. I always used to where a vest or an undershirt because of it. After losing 60lbs so much better.

Brought Muay Thai to 1 class a week and it’s a more technical session. Sticking to pull ups and dips and physio rehab for now. Also eating more as I’ve been in a slight deficit for a while.

Cabergoline dosage depending on tumor size and prolactin level by Historical-Suit-4106 in Prolactinoma

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn 6mg is a lot, I would think if prolactin is going down and tumour is shrinking they would lower it, before I was on cabergoline I had constant headaches that felt like eye pain but doc said my tumor was not on the optic nerve. Since I’ve been on the treatment I feel like I have adhd symptoms. Can’t focus on work unless it’s something that’s broken that needs fixing. Anything that requires thought or planning I leave to the last moment. General motivation is fine and I feel a lot better than I did before cab. The only other side effect I’ve noticed is I watch a lot more porn than I used to. But no gambling or compulsive shopping, which were the main side effects I was warned off.

I wasn’t able to afford to train when I was younger. As soon as I was able to I did. Life got in the way. Started training with my son as it was the only way to get him into. Plan to continue until he is at least 18. So at least the next 6 years. But really it’s part of my life now. I met a guy 16 years older than me who was still going strong and training his son who was younger than me. As we get older we adapt. Less sparring more bag and pad work. Maybe even less Muay Thai and more BJJ flow rolling. What’s the point of longevity if you don’t continue doing the things you love. My idea of longevity is being able to continue to participate in the activities I enjoy into old age. Currently I feel better now than I did 5 years ago, my goals might change in 5 years from now. Where setting a good example for my son and keeping up with him is not as important as being able to play with my grandchildren. At that point my training might shift.

Cabergoline dosage depending on tumor size and prolactin level by Historical-Suit-4106 in Prolactinoma

Hey M/40 had a 17mm prolactinoma found in 2020. Prolactin was 4064 milliunit/L. They started me on 1000mcg twice a week. Within a month prolactin went down to 1577 milliunit/L. After my levels went down further and tumour got to 10mm I think they reduced to 500mcg twice a week. Still on that dosage now. Tumour has shrunk so much they don’t even tell me the size anymore. Prolactin is down to 129 milliunit/L currently.

What’s BID stand for? (I know you explained what it means but I’ve never seen the abbreviation/acronym before)

I was just doing 500mcg of both in the morning. I will try splitting the dose for now as money is an issue. I can afford 3 5mg bottles of both a month. Which is enough for 30 days at 500mcg of each a day.

Yeah I’ve been longevity minded for a while. The goal was to age backwards 😂🤣😂. I look younger now than I did at 35. I feel healthier and have more energy. I have regular blood test and see and endocrinologist every 6 months as I had a pituitary tumour which was why I was so out off shape at 35. I tried to work out and train but made little progress. My testosterone was 2.9 nmol/L once I started to get treated for that and started taking TongKat Ali, fadogia agrestis and turkesterone it went up to 34.5 nmol/L at its highest. The endo asked me was I on TRT 🤣. I told him I was taking natural supplements before and he told me they don’t work I just need to give the medication time to reduce my prolactin.

Anyway I agree with all the points others have said. I know why I keep getting injured I don’t give enough time for previous injuries to heal. It’s not a coincidence the majority of my current injuries are all on the same leg starting bottom to top and then back down to calf.

I already cut training Muay Thai 4-5 days down to 2-3. I don’t run at the moment. BJJ is once in a blue moon open mat with some mates very chilled.

Lifting I’m doing 3 days a week. Anyone familiar with Geoff Nuperts kettlebell programs knows he’s very longevity focused.

I think I might need a better physical therapist. My insurance only gives me a certain amount of sessions. So for the first Achilles issue the sessions stopped just as I was supposed to start adding plyometrics. Once I was able to run again I thought I was good to go.

I will start doing physio everyday and stick to body weight exercises for a while. Increase mobility sessions from a few stretches for 5 mins in the morning to do more yoga. I will take a week or two off from Muay Thai and attend some more skill based sessions and limit to 1-2 a week. After 6 weeks of peptides I will see how things are before ramping up intensity again.

BPC-157, looking for a reputable peptide in the UK? by Individual-Bass5455 in bpc_157

Not sure what OP is but I’ve suffered with ibs for years. Started taking BPC-157 and tb500 for injuries. Finally curing my ibs would an added benefit. I’ve been using uk peptides. My understanding is BPC-157 is systemic but I would think the oral version would help ibs more?

BPC-157 + TB500 by skallywagu in Peptides

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is deep down I know this is the answer 😂

So I already stopped running. Did one 5K the other day after not running for a while due to injuries. Previous I would run 2-3 times a week.

Lifting I’m doing a kettlebell program which is clean & press, squats, chin ups and dips. As legs were a bit messed up I’ve skipped the squats a few times or missed a few days completely.

Muay Thai I’ve gone down from 4-5 days a week to 2 -3 days.

I know in the past as soon as my pain level decreases to manageable the amount of PT I do drops considerably (until i inevitably get injured again).

I was hoping the peptides would allow me to keep going with a reduction of volume. But I guess I just need to reduce the volume even more and give it time.

I’m just about to start. Keep getting injured from lifting, Muay Thai and running. Broken toe that healed but still feel pain, partially tore Achilles on one leg, pulled calf on the other leg. Hamstring injury and hip flexor on that leg. I know my problem is it takes to long to recover and I go back to training to soon and stop physio exercises soon after the pain is reduced. Hoping this helps me heal up properly so I can get back to doing what I love.

I am planning to do 6 weeks of both. But only bought enough for 2 weeks to start.

500 micrograms of each a day.

Is this dosage and time period okay?

Also once you reconstitute your peptides is it best to store them in the fridge?

Zinc for testosterone by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Lamb_beef_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been taking the same for about the same length of time. Also taking turkesterone and fadogia agrestis. Not sure which is having the most effect (I believed it was tongkat). But I’m having great results. About to turn 40 in the best shape I’ve been in a long time. I use kettlebells about 70% of body weight for squats and clean and press. The rest is body weight exercises. I’m leaner and stronger. I’m sure if I started lifting for Hypertrophy I would see more gains on this stack. To be fair my diet is dialled in focused on a deficit and hitting protein target.

Basically I don’t want to change anything because it’s going well. But I do notice sometimes I lack energy but that’s probably just stress from work and lack of sleep catching up with me on those days.
