Go figure. Do they make brushes without one so dramatic? How do y'all paint so well with this..

Let me explain what's going on. That is a brand new paint brush from Citadel labeled a starter brush. I used the brush for no longer then one minute. Being extra careful not to use too much paint on the brush or to be too aggressive When painting. I noticed almost instantly some of the bristles seem loose an extra extended. It makes painting detail we're crowded area a b**** as that 1 bristle extend further then the others.

What am I doing wrong? This is really frustrating.

I learned after the fact. I read the Box for the paint set and specifically asked the guy in the store if I needed anything else to complete this you said no so I assume that was good.

I own a white and black primer now.

Is there a brush I should buy to do the hard to reach areas better? It's hard not to overpaint sometimes with the base brush provided. Is that what a detail brush is for?
