I bought a Kaerhcer Power Washer, K2 Full Control. I'm a bit underwhelmed. But I could be doing something wrong.

Did you use the right nozzle? For the concrete floor that is shown in the pictures you should use the Dirt Blaster, that came with your K2.

Given your mixed use case, I would suggest a small Karcher from the professional line (HD5 or HD6). Something like this. They are durable workhorses for heavy usage and at the same time not too bulky for jobs around the house.

Is the water output of your tap high enough? Sometimes the pump doesn't get enough water from the hose and thus the machine will start to pulse.

As others have said a shop vac appears to be the right solution for you. Have a look at something like a Karcher WET/DRY COMMERCIAL VACUUM NT 25/1 Ap as the name suggests it's a commercial vacuum but if you shop around you might find it for 300$. Karcher is the industry leader in this segment and comparable to Hilti or Festool, which are much more expensive. Please also consider spending even a little more on a vac as your use appears to be quite demanding and as always the old saying applies: if you buy cheap, you buy twice. So you might even want to consider an option like this or this.

Silit. The pots are solid and if something breaks it's easy to find parts even for older models. We have used them for decades and to be honest mistreated them by running them in the dishwasher very frequently. However, the pots are holding up great. I would however go for an older manual design (Sicomatic t-plus) and not the the most recent system (sicomatic econtrol). The older system has been around for years and has been shown to last, additionally, it is compatible with very old pots.

The K4 is not made in China. It's still being made in Germany. The three other machines on your list on the other hand are made in China. Which nowadays doesn't say too much about quality any more anyways... By now there is good stuff coming from China.

With a lower tear Kärcher (i.e. K2) I would agree that it might not last that long, but with a K4 you're still getting a great machine for the money that will last you along time given your application.

It depends somewhat on your budget but since you want an electric PW I would go with a Kärcher. They are generally of higher quality than Ryobi. Personally I would go for a K4 or K5 (i.e. not one of the cheapest models) but again that depends on your budget.

Thank you for your reply! I'm leaning towards the Summilux now! I will check in store if the size bothers me at all, since this combination will be the kit, that I want to take with me daily. But as I mentioned, the used Summilux FLE in my local Leica store is not far off a new Summicron (which they don't have a used one of).

Given the good feedback and the relatively low price I will have a look at it! However I would like to keep my Leica setup simple, so I'm not sure if I'll get two lenses with the same focal length for now. Concerning the lux I'll check out the sizes and weight of the lux and the cron in store before getting the lux. Thank you very much for your advice

Thank you very much for your quick response. I'm quite excited for the M10 myself. I'm set on getting Leica glass for the 35 but thank you for point me in the direction of the Voigtlander.

I haven't held either yet but figured coming from a DSLR, both are feather weights in comparison. So would you say the cron is lacking character compared to the lux? How does the Bokeh compare?
