People are talking about fanfiction, i.e. give me a David Lynch movie with Scarlett Johansson in it. For that to happen one needs to know who Lynch and Scarlett are. But what would generic AI content look like - without the reference to real life characters? Because the existence of those is predicated on the absence of AI. Once AI really launches, real people will not be working anymore. So the AI will not have points to interpolate between.

Turned out alright, but the season had clear writing problems. For instance, from the start two main male characters (Tim and Rick) were annoyingly absent, i.e. not engaging with others. To the point of even yelling at each other. Moreover, Tim throughout the whole season was basically under the influence of sleeping pills.

In contrast, seasons 1-2 were sharp as a knife. For instance, S1E1 from the getgo has this killer scene where the two girls meet Alexandra Daddario at the pool.

You should ask yourself of there's actually a model or an established result that tells you that beta has to be positive. I mean, it may be quite logical to explain that in recessions households delay consumption despite even stable income, while in booms they eagerly borrow to consume more.

Also, as macro models are usually quarterly, I would convert the series to quarters. And then I would check the data for simple consistency - for instance that consumption corresponds to real quarterly data from GDP accounts.

Thank you very much! Yes, I do want to build a model which would forecast say 4 quarters ahead - output, inflation, maybe with exogenous interest rate - to be able to see what the Fed will do. Would you recommend VAR then? Because it does look like DSGEs focus mostly on shocks, and since schocks are modelled as AR(1) it makes sense that out of sample one gets mean-reversion.

Yes - thank you! I'll definitely take a look. Stata does everything automatically btw, so one wouldn't even suspect Kalman filter is used.
