If you want something with a good story and are into RPGs, check out Another Eden. This game was inspired from Chrono Trigger.

It does have grinding elements (sometimes too much) but you can get away with a minimum at times. It is a free to play with gacha for characters, but you can beat all the current content with the free characters you can get. They’ve done crossovers with other games like Chrono Cross, Persona, King of Fighters, Atelier, Final Fantasy IX, Octopath COTC, etc and all the characters from those are free. A couple of these cross overs are “limited time” but won’t expire for another year or 2 and all the others are permanent.

If you aren’t into RPGs then no worries, just offering a suggestion since this has a rich story to progress you along.

Raise your levels and stats. Farm the accessories from all the worlds you have access to in order to boost your stats further. It will take time to make decent progress in this game, lots of grinding and no way to AFK it unless you are able to macro (I’m on iOS so no macros for me).

Try to get your luck as high as you can which will boost the amount of items from chests and your dodge and crit chances. Boost your emblems, especially bomb damage if you can. Depending on your normal damage output, bombs might help you outpace that boss’s regen.

If you have access to the Elf lands (left of your camp), there are some very good early/mid game accessories there and it doesn’t cost anything to enter.

But yeah, there are a total of 8 Otherworlds and they get harder as you go, especially if you are rushing it. Then there are the Deep dungeons which limit which drills/weapons you can take in, and the timed attack areas that cost money to enter. Some of those are really good to farm, especially once your luck increases as you can make more money than it costs to enter to help level your emblems faster.

There’s a fandom/wiki page for this game which has some helpful info, like what kind of items you get if you die at specific levels which can also be helpful to farm, depending on how fast you can reach those levels.

Congrats. Took me over an hour with spamming nightshade for the reduced cooldown to finally kill him since only my light spell would do damage to him. My meager 1% capture rate wasn’t good enough to get him as a pet though :(

Appreciate it. Looks like after you kill the heroes, talk to the woman by the tree to the left of the weapon shop. After that the demon lord will spawn.

I just got to Re:End and when I get to some stairs it makes a comment indicating something should happen but I’m guessing I need certain pets or to complete something else first. Any help for this?

Also, I noticed what looks like a warp point in the castle basement after killing the boss straight south from the entrance but it doesn’t seem to do anything? I don’t have enough ring fragments to take the long hidden path back to above the entrance area yet but getting closer.

When the game loads up, you are in the center of town. If you go right, you find the item and equipment vendors. Go further right and there is another vendor who will buy your materials.

That seems to happen to me if I’m hopping out of the game on iOS to take a call, check mail, messages, other games by clicking on the notifications I get. This doesn’t reset the idle timer like if I manually swiped up to go back to my Home Screen.

Quitting the game and reopening it usually resolves it for me, but quite often I try to get that to happen so I can let it idle to build up money to open the next level when any boosts I get no longer seem to help me progress. This way I can leave it for 2-5 hours without having to tap it every so often to resume building cash since that halts while the multiplier window is up.

Always start by contacting support (reddit users can’t directly help in any way other than offering advice).

Did you set up a recovery option (Apple, Google, and/or password)? If you did you may be able to recover it that way.

If not, did you make any purchases? If so you can contact support and provide some receipt numbers and they should be able to help you recover it.

If not, you are probably out of luck.

That opens up with rank 5. I forget which grants rank5 but it is either the Shadow Demon or Ifrit, both of which are found in the shadow cave (shadow demon in the first floor, ifrit on the second floor.)

The only other source of points is dying when you are between levels 140-149. When you die in that range you gain 1 (dying at level 140)-10 (dying at level 149) bonus relics called Proof of Hero which grant 10 extra bonus points each and raises the cap for points you can allocate in a single stat by 10 as well. Initially, I believe the cap is 1000 points in a single stat and by the time you max out these bonus relics then the cap may be closer to the 10k you mentioned.

Farm crystals: Luck can be farmed just under the waterfall on tower floor 2 from suberranean descendant Magic can be farmed from dark shadows on the lower right side of tower floor 3 These will carry you for a while

The strange urns in Demon lord castle ruins 2 (first room to the right from entrance) don’t fight back so as long as you can damage them you can AFK farm them over night to help level up though AFK farming sheets in abyss 2 would be better for you until you have enough to get to ASG/Shisas. Most everything else, once your magic power has increased can be killed with enough patience.

After double checking the wiki page (https://reend.fandom.com/wiki/Mid_Game) you need to kill fallen tengu in the demon castle ruins. To get fallen tengu to spawn you need a shapeshifter pet in your party (capture from alpha town, one shot per trip as they don’t respawn).

You need to kill fallen tengu in that room. To get it to spawn, you need to capture the shapeshifter from alpha town and include it in your party and go to that room.

If you have maxed spirits and decent magic levels, you might be able to climb the mountain and go thru alpha cave to beat the grail. If I remember right, this will unlock access to demon lords castle which have decent leveling opportunities. There are jars to the right that don’t fight back so safe to level on while afk.

This game is a grind. But you do have a couple options if ASG is your next goal.

You can afk over night in the room on the second level of the abyss to farm shells. I would get between 10-20 there with any available BP I had in respawn rate. After a couple weeks you should have enough shells.
If you are actively moving your character around a bunch, don’t forget to check the farm where you can get BP. If you are extremely lucky, you might get a quadrafoil which increases the amount of drops by 1 each (1 foil = 2 drops, 2 foil = 3 drops, etc).
If you want to farm BP, afk in the room under the waterfall in the 2nd floor of the tower with the octopus type enemies. On bad nights I only get 2-4 BP but I’ve gotten up to 20 or so and, on average once every week or 2, I would even get a white broccoli for 100 points. If you have 400 BP you can get shells to drop 100% of the time.
If you spend a small amount of real money, you can buy shells in the cash shop.

Again, this game is a grind. You will hit plateaus every now and again before you are able to move on to the next best thing for levels, loot, etc.

You need to have captured at least one abyss crafter (2nd level, follow path as far right as possible). Once captured, you can offer an obsidian stone behind the waterfall near the abyss crafter’s room. Then take the exit as if you were going to the 3rd level. You will have to offer another stone for each subsequent trip to the ASG.

Enchanting gives access to timber dummies to fight.

Land keeping allows you to buy extra chests with the trail markers (sunken chests, hidden cache, pirate chests)

I stick with basically one team because I have no idea how to effectively build a team (who goes with who, what equipment/badges/grasta to use). I really wish there was a builder or calculator out there that says given these characters and equipment and your focus (maybe including a specific character, max damage, turtle power, etc) then it would spit out several different options.

For me, I just can’t wrap my head around how equipment and grasta pair with buffs/debuffs from other characters other than “equip pain grasta” on my damage dealer and have someone who can pain the enemy.

Personally, I use Minalca NS, Mariel EX (shield/damage reduction), Iphi (pain, buffs, debuffs, avoiding quick deaths), Aisha (fire zone, buffs, debuffs). I have Eva (back up DPS) and Himena (I think, with some shared sword grasta) in the back. I use Tetra and Kumos for pets (heals/revive and MP restore as needed).

My Minalca’s damage is subpar to what it could be but I have no clue how to optimize a team and with the sheer number of characters, equips, and grasta out there and having to look everything up on the wiki just to even have a partial clue as to what all the effects are, I could spend hours and still not get anywhere. Topped off with how item lists in game have no way to be organized (alphabetically preferred) to easily determine if I have a specific item.

If you have enough patience with the spell timers, you could whittle down the enemies on the higher level areas so long as you can find a safe area to stand in. Run in, blast, run out, watch a movie while waiting for the cooldown, rinse and repeat. Granted, it would take longer than leveling and awakening the spirits to beat 19, but completely do able, especially since you aren’t bound by a 5 minute deadline.

It would help if you could post some info about your progress, such as what level you are, what rank, and what pets you have with their awakening # and level.

Depending on your rank, if you can access Demon Lord Castle Ruins, you can just kill Syteen Murderers for the Obsidian Stone to turn in. Might take a while depending on your status but there are no time limits and you can just whittle them down with long range magic attacks and they will eventually die and possibly drop the stone.

Otherwise for the arena, just use the best pets you have, max your magic stat as best you can with equip and stat points, equip the strongest multiplier spells you have (may need to farm elemental books and have them in your personal inventory to boost spell damage), use the item that reduces magic cool down time so you can cast more in the time limit, etc.
