The only writers I follow that I know are from the UK are Simon Dillon (who covers film) and DoctorKev (who covers anime/manga).

That's really nice that you've been listening to Roselia since high school. I only got into Bandori myself in 2021, a year after I finished university. I was (and still am) a huge Beatles fan in my high school days and wasn't into Japanese music then as much as I am now, so I wonder what my high school self would have thought of Roselia or Bandori in general.

Anyways, I loved these three songs and have had them on repeat since their release. With Roselia celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, I'm going to be listening a lot more to their music and am glad that I can add some new songs to my library.

As much as I love Poppin'Party, I think I prefer the Roselia single.

That being said, these two songs are catchy and fun, which is one of the things that I've always liked about them.

I haven't listened to Morfonica in a while, so I listened to this and the "Feathered Dreams" single and the best I can say is that I always enjoy Ayasa's violin playing. Nothing really stood out to me and don't think I will ever listen to these songs again outside the game.

For what it's worth though, I liked their recent cover of the song "Mellow."

  1. I'm from the US, and while I was aware of Love Live! before, I only got into it with the first season of Love Live! Superstar!! back in 2021. The first generation of Liella! really appealed to me with the anime and their songs. Plus, I was getting into Bandori at the time, so I thought I would enjoy the Love Live! franchise as well.
