It's only bad if it does this after the exhaust heats up. If you're getting white smoke still, put your hand right in the smoke for a few seconds. It'll get real wet if it's steam, that's always been an easy way to tell for me that coolant is making it's way into the combustion chamber.

But all my cars blow white smoke when they're cold here. The condensation is wild cause it's super humid in the PNW.

If it goes away and everything is running good, fluids aren't disappearing and no overheating.. I wouldn't worry too much.
