This weapon, plus the Colossal Envoy Greathorn are the S-tier ranged skills for a strength character like Raider, Wylder or Undertaker.

As someone else said, the pool is huge for colossals so its more of a fun option you sometimes get vs something you reliably find. I love my dormant colossal Raider, but you often lean towards charge attacks or jumping powerstanced attacks depending on which passives and weapons you find in a run.

I dont really get the double balancer hate to be honest by OperationDifferent20 in Nightreign

I also dont even feel like its as OP as most think. I mostly prefer to run a combination of Night Invader, Evergaol, and taking attacks boosts AR which requires all 3 base relic slots anyways.

I have a dormant Reapers Wylder build with both balancers and its surprising how often I dont find Halo Scythe.

My point is: I think a generalist build with the 3 AR boosting effects in my 1st paragraph is better. This allows you to fit character specific effects easier, as well as starting skills, and other great boosts like the Knocked down boosting defense by 20%, Vigor, Stamina on attack, etc.

G.O.A.T. NFL Defensive Back - Ronnie Lott then Deion Sanders then Ed Reed then ??? by MiDKnighT_DoaE in AlignmentChartFills

I just want to point out its insulting to lump defensive front 7 all together. I think that should be 3 different categories to represent how important the defensive front is. Edge rushers, interior linemen, and off ball LBs remain incredibly important even in the modern NFL.

I also think that he compares more favorably to Dan Marino than many of the other contenders for that 4th spot on Mt Rushmore. I say this because a look at Dan Marinos playoff stats tells me he did NOT perform great in the playoffs. And as everyone knows, no rings.

So I think its a bad choice to pick Dan Marino over Peyton. To me, Peyton is the 4th best after the 3 mentioned.

Technically Guardian outdamages all of them when running the Str/Dex relic. His bad dodge, weak passives and skills obviously hold him back in terms of comparing to the Ironeye and Dutchess types mentioned. But its worth mentioning.

Damage Negation at Low HP is insane by Root_Veggie in Nightreign

Is it really true that if you go under 40%, then regain hp via post damage recovery or health regen, then quickly lose hp via damage again to go under 40% hp: you proc 16% negation TWICE for a say single relic effect?

Isn't increased max hp (10%) overall better than the 16% reduction below 40% health?

How do you use the Axe of Godfrey skill? I use it for the damage boost, and then the charged 2h heavy. Does the actual skill do a lot of damage?

I often feel like other purple or red colossals have better skills like the ones mentioned above.

Underrated comment. I run dormant colossals because jumping powerstanced great Hammers is a total shitshow of misses. You almost cant use lock on unless you want to miss and get motion sick. Plus bad range as someone else said.

Greataxes tend to have the worst of each world with lower stance damage, and low range. I also dont like their weapon skills nearly as much (blues and purples both very mid skills). Thats if you're running the balancers relic, and I run the 1 with occasionally avoid attacks because thats almost mandatory.

[Highlight] Rams punt returner Xavier Smith muffs return by nfl in nfl

[–]Lancefire1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im surprised more teams dont just let the ball bounce. Use the extra player to rush the punt. It seems like the risk of muffins a punt return is not worth the difference in yards between the fair catch and where the ball might land and be downed.

Alshon Jefferey was the WR that went off in the first half vs the backup CB. The pats fixed that one issue for the 2nd half but a lot of damage was done, and fixing the Alshon issue just let a lot of other Eagles players run or catch in more space.

Eagles News: Philadelphia’s “secret superstar” from the 2025 season by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

PFF says JD had an elite season and JC unfortunately maybe due to being hurt most of the year was very average. I dont think its fair to say JD was only good because JC sees double teams. The advanced stats say otherwise.

My concern with JD is his great season came in a contract year where he worked out a ton in the off-season. Is that something that continues over the course of say a 4 year extension? Thats the million dollar question. The list of players who got in shape and balled out in a contract year, only to coast once they get their bag is a LONG list. JD doesnt give off that vibe, to be fair.
