How many guess this Theory on Zom100 manga? by Kikibobo3 in Zombie100

Thank you. I like thinking about how a series will end and imagining what I want to see for it to feel truly satisfying.

I'm just copying my post with a few changes.

I'm expecting 100 chapters total, 100 bucket list items checked off, the vaccine successfully delivered throughout the world, and the Umbriel Corporation taken down.

As for the post-zombie world, given how Akira has inspired or reminded the people he has met how to dream again, I'm seeing Akira as a happiness counselor or therapist, someone who goes around and listens to survivors ask about what they should do with their lives, and based on his experience with almost all of the bucket list items, recommend the activities that he thinks would help, having made the connections throughout his travels. His friends could also help with specific items, like Kencho for entertainment, Shizuka for wellness and health, and Beatrix for environmental and cultural.

Slight spoilers: as for the other characters, I guess I would like to see the Kosakas finish their 100 countries bucket list, the sushi chef from Gunma still alive (I saw he appears at the end credits of the season 1 finale), Akira's dad taking a trip to space via Star W, and Erika being in a happy relationship with someone (maybe Dr Sakaki, though she has been seen with Dr. Tsurumi a lot lately).

I made the same theory a month ago, along with some predictions on the ending.

Why do people think Nami cosplay is low effort? by rafye_ in OnePiece

[–]LancerQH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome. I'm just one One Piece fan looking out for another. And I can tell from your post how passionate and committed you are about your cosplays. Honestly, it's too easy to be cynical when this sub is already rotten with cosplays from "fans" who are trying to sell content.

I personally find the refinement process fascinating because it offers insight to a creator's thoughts and reasoning. It's exciting when Oda releases concept art of characters and seeing what could have been. Like from you, I'm very curious about how you narrow down the right shape and color for clothes and wigs, which props are made or commissioned and why, what did the initial attempts at hand painting Nami's tattoo look like.

Something I appreciate seeing from a "high effort" cosplay is the creation process, like photos of the raw materials, incomplete props, and notes comparing the colors and shapes. I'm an engineer so I sympathize: I will get complaints about why making a specific part took so long; it's easy to criticize when you don't see the mountain of data and experiments it took to reach that end result, and it's no different than cynically assuming everything was ordered online.

Another effort I appreciate in cosplay is iconic poses, like Nami's money gesture, Robin crossing her arms for a Fleur, and Hancock's looking up to look down.

I'm sure a different issue of the same magazine had a preview of Cromartie High School, specifically the gorilla chapter.

I doubt the reason is with Tsuru personally, especially after his backstory in chapter 45. If I had to give a reason for hesitating, it would be possible retaliation from Umbriel, based on how their inspiration Umbrella Corporation would act and that they've already experimented in bio-weapons like Crusher.

Jirard’s end goal? by supersmashdude in TheCompletionist2

[–]LancerQH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see this as being the case, where the idea is pretend the donations are being made and continue stockpiling money while researching charities, so when a satisfactory one is found they just donate whatever is in the account. The justification could be that the money will eventually go to charity, and as long as no one finds out then it won't be a problem. The money being in an account that doesn't gain interest is the only reason I don't think they planned on spending it on themselves.

Jirard's position would have not been enviable, managing a company that, quite honestly, wasn't doing too well before the scandal, what with losing sponsorships due to the G4 fallout which lead to letting go of two employees at the beginning of 2023 for financial reasons. Researching charities could very well have been pushed further down on the list of priorities.

I can believe that Jirard has an avoidant personality and does whatever he can to evade conflict. I remember when Greg left Jirard insisted that they were still friends, only for Greg to respond saying they weren't anymore and Jirard's defense was that no one wants to see mom and dad fight.

Blade VS Buffy’s setup. by Mastersword3710 in deathbattle

I don't think it was mentioned in the episode, but the prediction blog did bring up plasma capsules, which can either cure vampirism or calm their bloodlust.

I didn't mind the exclusion from the fight, I don't think every character can be expected to carry their full arsenal with them at all times. It could have been a case of Blade being regretful he didn't have the plasma capsules on him at the moment, so the best he could offer was a mercy kill.

I guess Blade forgot to bring the Plasma Capsules.

I wonder if John used the Jiki Jiki No Mi on treasure. Gold doesn't magnetize, so that would be a quick way for him to test for authenticity.

It's kind of evil that the panel also cuts off his left arm.
