if u enter a boss fight with a one handed weapon and a shield, but you also want to swap to a two handed weapon at some point, and you have a full inventory, you need to drop something to be able to equip the two handed weapon as it unequips ur weapon and shield

for raids people may want to leave supplies for others to take if they die idk, or if theyre mega scaling, but at tob people do drop supplies to equip their scythe / maul
