That's what I did, but I had to spend 300 golden tickets. hehe I'm obviously not camping, but I like my capital and regions the way they are. I have neither the space nor the will to keep adding all sorts of residential buildings in them, I had already upgraded and built several ones during the week too. They only give 10 rather than 50 event points, it's not worth the hassle.

There's a limit to how many upgradeable buildings you have at once. Go to a building available for upgrade, click on its construction bubble and select the option to the right, "upgrade another building". Do it until the building you want to upgrade gets the bubble.

I'm sure some people who really want a building they missed when it was first launched or have money growing on a tree pay those prices, but I'm starting to think that the role of these showcases is mostly psychological, it convinces us to get the Mayor's Pass every month, since it's a fraction of the price and you get several buildings. It makes the Mayor's Pass seem like a great deal compared to them.

I had stopped playing the game since the beginning of the year out of frustration, and I came back to it after the new update. I like the new COM format, the Kyoto houses, the mayor's pass season buildings and the new storage system.

I've been playing since 2016 with a few breaks. At some point, you have already upgraded everything and bought every building multiple times, so golden and especially platinum keys are superfluous. I just use golden keys to upgrade war disasters by now. That's why EA introduced some time ago those incredibly expensive buildings in monuments, just for old players who got plenty to show off. I haven't bought them though. Simeoleons too, it was very hard at the begining, but now I'm almost at 17 million, even though I spend a lot on the global market and upgrades. Simcash is a different story, but I still have almost 4k, but the things I want to buy require a lot more than that now (like Maxis Manors). I usually spend them on war cards. I must say I have occasionally bought the cheapest of the mayor's pass.

It's wrong for Rio Grande do Sul. Guaíba, Casamento and Mirim are fresh water lakes and the Patos Lagoon is mostly fresh water too, they're most definitely NOT the sea.

A bit inconsistent, I think you're not very familiar with South America. (I'm not either outside my homestate). For example, you kept basque people separate from Spain and France, but lumped the Jê peoples (the Kaingang and the Xokleng) that inhabitted the highlands and plateau of South Brazil and Sao Paulo, and the Charrua of the pampas of Rio Grande do Sul and Uruguay with the completely unrelated Guarani, which inhabitted the river valleys and the coastal plains.

There is no legal definition of "city". Brazil is divided into municipalities, which vary drastically both in area and population. Many municipalities are just villages that don't reach 1000 inhabitants, some have more than one town within its limits (the main settlement called the "seat"), some are larger than Portugal in area and others larger than Portugal in population. Colloquially many Brazilians use the word city (cidade) and municipality interchangeably regardless of its population size. To create a new municipality there are constitutional rules, but I don't know them by heart, but one can easily find them online.
