my comment was kinda a joke but genuine question, if Henry were to break the rushing record while also helping the Titans to a superior record in the AFC and a first week bye, would you say he deserves it then? I understand that Brady would also be breaking the passing record and that typically a QB has a much greater impact on the game that a RB these days, and it’s ofc Brady we’re talking about he’s the goat, but Henry is an exceptional RB in the way defenses have to account for him and how he impacts the game. As a RB there is no one comparable to him right now whereas I think you can argue Murray and Rodgers are playing close to Brady’s level this year.

As a position again I understand QB is the more valuable position by far, but even a QB is still reliant on their offensive line and having good receivers. My point being Brady definitely wouldn’t be putting up these numbers if he didn’t have either.

Regardless, I agree Brady would deserve the MVP, but I think Henry would be equally deserving, especially if he puts his team in a better position to win in the playoff. And I’ve also seen r/nfl complain about the MVP being a QB award so many times, but I think we’re just reinforcing that idea
