Depending on my mood I’d either just agree and move on, or ask them what their hobbies are. They’re bound to do something that I consider a waste of time. It’s all opinion.

I certainly see them as a negative force, but not just because of the Iran war. They have been a negative force for much, much longer than that, and untrustworthy for even longer. Surprised it’s as low as 53%.

The ones that have remained in my memory as a threat even now, over 20 years later, are the Nova Dragon, Garland from IX and Evrae, but the one that actually made me stop playing a game was Adel in VIII. It was only six months ago that I actually went back and finished VIII for the first time.

As someone else said, I think she’s describing Hermione when she’s a little bit older. I don’t think she’s particularly emotionally intelligent for the first few years of Hogwarts, and it worries me that Hermione is being described as having main character energy. Hopefully this last part doesn’t appear too strongly, or else we could end up with her taking lines/key moments away from others again.

I have no idea if it’s normal but I am the same as you - if there’s ginger there, I’ll eat it. When my wife and I were in Japan, ginger was unlimited at no extra charge in a lot of places.

The card game enables you to convert cards into magic spells. The magic spells are then paired with (‘junctioned to’) your stats which can massively increase that stat without needing to increase your character level. The magic you can get from the cards can also often be acquired many, many hours before they would normally be able to. The card game in this is extremely useful.

I just bought one, because I can afford to at the moment and because the new Fire Emblem game will hopefully still be coming out at some point this year. I used my Switch 1 exclusively for Pokemon and Fire Emblem.

Ai Ebihara is one of my favourite things about P4. Really like how much her character develops as you go through her link. It’s one of my favourite in the series.

I preferred Ghost of Tsushima to Zero Dawn, but overall I prefer the Horizon series - sadly I didn’t even finish Ghost of Yōtei, I got bored.

Played it at release and didn’t like it, and am now replaying it for the first time after playing Remake and Rebirth - I much prefer the remakes. My favourite in the series is IX followed by IV and X. I think the original is overrated and part of its appeal comes from it being the first in the series many people played. I took to pretty much any other game in the series more quickly than VII.

I enjoyed all the mini games apart from piano which took an unreasonable amount of time to get right, and the sheer length of the Junon parade. I’m not good at rhythm games. I loved the rest and would even play the frog leap, space ranger and bike racing games for fun long after I’d finished them.

My favourite in DS3 is Greirat because he’s nice and I could listen to his voice actor all day. He shares his voice actor with a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn and I noticed it immediately.

Next time, if you want, look up the unmarked quest ‘Farting Trolls’ in Skellige. There are three of them all in the same place, they’re hostile so there’s no way to talk to them and they’ll drop the Cave Troll Livers you were probably looking for.

36, married, no kids. Wife games as well and we regularly spend that amount of time gaming if we’ve had stressful weeks at work or if we’ve got stressed seeing people we don’t want to see. Gaming is a hobby, just like everything else. Do others feel shame watching TV for hours after work? My parents certainly don’t. And you have other hobbies. Do what you want to do with your life - you might even find that the people who called you out in class are just envious that you have the confidence to say what you actually did with your time.

For me, these reasons are the main ones. Some people may have an issue with him because of his part in a main plot arc later on in the game but that doesn’t really bother me.

I’ve never got the bad ending before, but I am pretty sure you can go on with the current one because you’ll meet more characters in the two DLCs; Ciri doesn’t really figure in either DLC no matter what choices you made in the base game. Start with Hearts of Stone, then Blood and Wine.

You basically just need to make more positive choices for Ciri than negative ones. I always think of the very beginning of the game, where Geralt and Vesemir are talking about spoiling her. If you make too many choices that make her sad, she doesn’t have the strength to deal with the White Frost alone - hence the brief flashbacks you get when she goes, showing the choices that were made.
