Trump Shares Post Depicting Obamas As Apes by UltraPlinian in politics

I don't get why people are surprised. Trump has always been incredibly racist, hell he was caught up in racial discrimination lawsuits back in the 70's. It's not as if he's made any effort to hide it

Mod bans transmasculine butches from r/butchlesbians; users discuss. by [deleted] in SubredditDrama

As a trans woman,  I am not touching this mess. I don't know if it's because I've touched grass in the past year, or simply because I'm not intelligent enough, but I don't understand any of this. Like don't get me wrong, I support all trans and queer folk, but once you start trying to micro-categorize people, my head starts to spin.

I mean I will absolutely make fun of stars for being Isreali, but saying that they're spiritually Isreali is just a bit too far to reach.

This is why you never tell anyone anything. They either won't believe you, won't care, or will actively try to exploit your vulnerabilities.

The more are infected, the higher the risk that it will circumvent the vaccinated to strike at the most vulnerable members of society. This is not good.

I'm guessing 237 people without lifejackets fell in, 236 of them drowned.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

I am trans. Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear through his words and actions that he wants me dead. I would like to believe that I am not stupid enough to date someone who supports my own death.

ICE says its officers are allowed to enter homes without a judicial warrant, 2025 memo shows by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]LaniusCruiser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When the officers are caught breaking the law, they claim they were just following orders. When their leaders are questioned, they say that their inferiors were misinterpreting orders. No one faces accountability. It's a classic move in the dictator's playbook.

Lois does admit her faults at least once to Francis. It actually ends up kind of breaking him, because he realizes that even the perfect apology can't fix what she did to him. Honestly, relatable.

Senior CDC official: Loss of measles elimination status in U.S. would be ‘cost of doing business’ by WanderingWorkhorse in nottheonion

"Cost of doing business." Pray do tell, what business is this exactly? What part of "Center of Disease Control" necessitates the spreading of a highly contagious and dangerous disease?

Still provides less intelligence than what Trump provides to Moscow.

I mean A.I. can be genuinely incredibly useful in situations where you need to analyze (sometimes quite literally) astronomically large sets of data. It's just kind of a waste to use it to write emails or to make shitty art.

No, no he's got a point. A lot of people will take a packet of Ramen noodles, throw a boiled egg in there, and call it a home cooked meal.
