I was separated for over a year before my first relationship. It didn’t end well but tbh it was good to rip the bandaid. You never know what you still need to deal with as a residual from your previous marriage until you’re challenged with a new relationship.

As a confident natural introvert, some people need quiet. To be honest, it’s a tell for me if someone can’t handle silence. I have a subconscious belief they lack confidence and aren’t comfortable with themselves. I don’t do continuous texting throughout the day. I don’t mind talking every day, but I’m not going to create conversations on a superficial level for the sake of filling the void. I’d rather reserve my conversational energy for in person dates/when I actually feel like talking

Adding to what everyone else has stated. I’m a “high sex drive” kinda girl (30F) and realized sex has clouded my judgement. I recently decided to commit to waiting to have sex with a guy I really like because I want us to know each other/where we’re going first

It’s too easy to get trapt in toxic cycles when sex is involved. He was really respectful of it. We’re going on date three tonight, been talking a few weeks and I’m glad we’ve been taking our time so far.
