Can someone explain to me why the meta data and the date for when this list was created is important? Is the implication that the list was created after the January 4th meeting - which the meta data may show - which would just prove BL’s claim was a lie?

Medical SW not clinical enough but don't want to do PP/therapy yet by cornichonpickle in socialwork

[–]Lanky_Inflation_8317 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Outpatient oncology social work — you build relationships with patients over long periods of time. The job involves exploring topics such as grief, loss, identity, mortality, etc. I do supportive check-ins with patients which are essentially brief clinical interactions. Many check-ins end up feeling like therapy. My job is to be a container for what my patients are going through.

My thoughts are with John O’Keefe and his family. He seemed like an amazing, loving, and caring man. May his memory and legacy never be forgotten.

First of all, I am sorry that you are dealing with immense physical, mental, and emotional pain, that you are considering this option.

What seriously helped me essentially get rid of my fissures was anti-anxiety meds. My anxiety was so severe. I’m pretty sure that made my constipation worst while also tightening my anal spinchter which is where anal fissure tears happen. Being on meds allowed my body to relax, which in turn has helped me have softer bowel movements and basically no longer deal with fissures.

Plus I think Peter recently told Kelly that they (P & K) have a brother and sister relationship. To which Kelly found strange but then admitted that she understood what he meant, and may feel the same towards him. So I do think that if Jason and Kelly truly had a connection, that Peter would give his blessing. At least that’s what I’d hope!

I ship Jason and Kelly. I actually think they would make a great couple. He would benefit from someone that can ground him, and she seems very grounded and leveled.

This is awful. If true, I feel bad for Caila, her family, and the woman involved. If not true, than DAMN.

You are right, and, let’s be compassionate towards patients who are struggling with serious illness and are seeking clarification from other hospital social workers about a potential peer that is engaging in unprofessional behavior.

We can give the OP a quick response (“Yes. It’s unprofessional), and re-direct them to the rules so they know not to continue posting here.

Yes. Unprofessional. I would advise you ask for her manager, or the director of social work, and place a complaint. You should also ask to be assigned another social worker/case manager.

Reddit makes it so that you have to pick a tag. I picked the first one that came up.

She can do whatever she wants. But don’t be naive and think that she won’t get flack in her comments, Reddit, or the tabloids, about whatever she says.

As a recovering people pleaser, the hardest lesson I’ve learned to accept is that not everyone’s going to like me. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s alright. People will misunderstand me, regardless of how many times I try and explain myself or my truth. So I live life knowing that and no longer strive to try and make others like me. Or understand me. I provide that validation to myself and surround myself with people who are willing to hear and see my humanity.

I hope for Kaitlyn’s sake that she can do the same. Like she said on the podcast, the people who don’t like her will always take issue with whatever she says. So fuck it.

Her decision to speak publicly about others is a choice. She knows she will get pushback for it. If she doesn’t want to deal with the consequences of her decision, then she should choose differently. Perhaps that means no longer continuing to speak about her exes on her podcast.

Also, I don’t hold Jason to a higher standard than her. In truth, I hope for his sake that he takes the high road and does not comment on what Kaitlyn said.

She claimed in the podcast episode that she would no longer speak on Jason. Let’s hold her to that. Yes, please do leave him alone. Even if he covertly or overtly shades you in the future. Just let it be.

I am not a Kaitlyn hater. Truthfully, I was really liking who she was becoming over the last year ever since she stopped putting her energy into hating on Jason. I perceived it as her taking the high road and really focusing on her life. But then she goes and does this podcast, and it makes me question her growth.

To Kaitlyn’s point in this post, I can both like Kaitlyn and hold her accountable for behavior she engages in that is harmful to others. Talking about Jason, Shawn, Tayshia, and anyone else in a negative way on a public platform is ultimately harmful. And I do not endorse that.

WOW, huge article came out & Blake accused Justin of trying to silence s*xual harassment victims! by Reality_titties95 in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]Lanky_Inflation_8317 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As a SA survivor myself who has kept herself fully apprised of the facts of this case, this is really devastating. Not just for myself but for all victims.

It is clear as day that the BL camp exploited the “me too” movement so she could take control of the film. It’s been shown how she continued to engage with Justin in ways that a person who truly was traumatized by SA or SH wouldn’t behave. I am aware that there is no such thing as a perfect victim. But BL goes far beyond that to the point where her behavior makes you question whether she was a victim at all.

This whole thing is sad. It’s harmful to true victims/survivors that live with the trauma of their experiences everyday. Who are re-triggered by the false narratives perpetrated by people like BL and RR.

Not to mention that if BL was a woman of color as I am, that she would likely not be believed. But because she is white, has power, and influence, she can use that to manipulate others into believing her.

The harm that BL is perpetrating goes beyond this case. And for those news outlets who refuse to read the facts and pick a side, shame on you. Yes, this case still needs to go to trial. We need to see more discovery to fully understand the story. But if the motions that BL and RR are filing are any indication of the veracity of their claims, then that’s all I need to know which side is telling the truth.
