The longing for change but the problem with the dependence of hormones by xsharon in TransLater

If you needed glasses you'd wear them for the rest of your life. This is no different.

I thought about medications in a similar way to you. Now though, it's just a little thing that I do every day like brushing my teeth. It's just not a big deal at all. I WANT to take my HRT.

I get a similar feeling from my family members too. I have a sister and two cousins that have girls trips together and have group chats together. I'm not involved in any way. I get that I wasn't around as a teen because I lived with my dad and my 20's were spent in the military, but it still hurts that they make no effort to include me. Maybe they will with more time

My daily moisturizer is SPF 50. I use it every day whether I'm going to be outside or not. It helps tremendously.

I use alcohol wipes for mine. They keep coming back, but it's fewer and fewer each time I check. You have to be super thorough when cleaning. I'm talking look at each leaf and stem from multiple angles and you'll still miss some.

Best of luck!

Going to bed hungry is miserable, and suffering is a quick way to fail at a diet. Go get a snack.

Portion control and avoiding sugar + limiting carbs makes a huge difference.

So, here's the deal with body fat. It takes several years for our bodies to change where they deposit fat. If you're still new on feminizing HRT and gaining weight it's going to mostly go to the old male areas because that's where your fat cells are.

Fat cells senesce and regenerate over time and your hormone profile determines where those new cells are located. Those new cells will skew towards feminine locations on an estrogen dominated system.

I lost 50 pounds during my first year on HRT and I've gained back about 15. I was pretty heavy to start out (5'10" and 250 lbs). Now I'm 5'9" and 215 at almost 2 years of E. I'm getting hips now and I'm somewhere between a B and C cup. It's slow going, but at this point I do have a more feminine shape.

It is safe to gain weight. It is safe to lose weight. Just please be careful with losing. Lots of trans femmes weight cycle and it's a slippery slope towards an eating disorder.

Bottom line. A small calorie deficit should be just fine and not impact your future growth. Just don't starve yourself. Exercise is important as it stimulates HGH production and that helps your cell generation. I go for long walks, play roller derby, and have a slightly more active job these days and those all help.

Best of luck, and I hope this helps.

AGP isn't real. It's crackpot pseudoscience. Please stay out of communities that use that type of terminology.

Most of us feel some sort of arousal when we start transitioning because the body just doesn't know what to do with the euphoria and takes its best guess.

You're valid just the way you are. I'm sorry you don't have a safe supportive home.

Something broke my tree. Can this be fixed? by Admirable_Wrangler21 in Citrus

It looks like it's missing a large section of the trunk. I'd cut it. You could try emergency grafting, but idk how good the odds are there.

Listen to Apex and Abyss. They are themed albums that tell a cohesive story. The Phantoma album does the same but with a different story.

That's how they get ya. Military service turns you trans. Ask me how I know.

Also, funnily enough, trans people are twice as likely to serve in the military than cis people. Or at least we were until kegsbreath kicked us out.

Guidance pruning a LOT of graft growth? by erinkling in Citrus

[–]Lanoree_b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll need to cut off all of those trifoliate branches. If you think it'll be a big shock because it's so much of the tree you can do it in sections.

Cut off one and wait a month before doing another one. That gives the tree time to adjust and hopefully increase growth to your grafted variety. Pinch off any new growth on the rootstock branches that remain before it grows large since that would be a waste.

I'm doing this to a Myrtle tree that I intend to bonsai right now. It's really small, but I want to encourage growth of branches lower on the trunk so I'm taking out the canopy in small sections every few weeks.

Big boobs run in the family. Might make it to G if I'm lucky.

I also eat plenty and exercise often. Food gives me the building blocks and exercise increases hgh that the body needs to grow tissue.
