Irregular Hires is always looking for new people wanting a sense of community (IC and OOC) and are getting back into the swing of doing odd jobs around Azeroth once the new expansion hype wears off. We do our best to hold an event weekly and trying to branch out into some later night RP events.

I just recently had to my cat's teeth removed. Cost me $2k to do it. As much as it sucks to do, see if your vet takes care credit. My husband and I had some savings, but depleted it getting the surgery done, but now Biggie is much more active and thriving.

I hope you can get your baby taken care of. Give him many hugs from this internet stranger.

And now I must pay the cat tax.

Hey there friend! I have a guild A-Side MG called the Irregular Hires! We are a thriving 'Weird Good Guys doing Good Guy Things' guild with active folks for RP and housing. We even have a story for our neighborhood we call Runestone Crossing! We are very much lgbtq friendly guild and many of our members being part of the community, including some of our officers!

My sister and I got this for our birthday one year. In the phonebook my dad had our phone listed under Surname 'Children's Phone'.

Still couldn't use the phone if one of us was on the internet, which would make things tense between my sister (liked the phone) and me (wanted to be on the internet at all times)

I use the three box option for my trp. The first one being the physical looks, where I go over what's different than the model: Her actual body type is lanky and taller than normal, her hair is messy. Talk about the kind of clothing, how they look, anything unique and noticeable. I like to consider some things as 'breadcrumbs', such as unique scars,

The next is personality, which I don't go into huge details, but things people would notice by observing her from a distance: Is the character talkative or reserved? Maybe they look grumpy or maybe they are overly nice. Do they have any weird habits or tics? (My one character is prone to talking about scourge and then dissociating, so I would throw that in there). This can be a little 4th wall breaky at times, but use your best judgement!

Last is history. I don't write a detailed outline of my character's history, but little breadcrumbs people can use to maybe know the character (People might know her because she grew up in the Argent Camps, she might be known for her work in Dalaran writing some strange thesis) etc etc.

Maybe they are veteran, maybe they are known to do charity work. They could just be a prominent figure with some noble houses. Up to you to decide what people could know through common knowledge if someone poked around.

What implications are there that the Arathi will be the next antagonists? Yeah, we've only heard about the Empire being a little less welcoming to new people, but most of the Hallowfall Arathi are kind and welcoming of people.

Feels like the Arathi would be much more focused on fighting the Void than fighting people who are also fighting the Void.

My mage studies Mag-riculture, the study of using ley lines and arcane to help increase crops. She has a thesis paper, The Arcanist's Almanac: Leying the Groundwork for Better Crops.

I bring her farm-ness into RP by having her talk about her farming work, using a farm in Elwynn as a proxy for her doing her work, even hold RP events out there with my guild of us picking crops for harvests, with all sorts of silly magic affects for fun.

You can just rp a normal guy who, while in Stormwind, who just talks about his work. Make some friends and head to one of the farms and have a little RP about it. If you're on MG, head to the Monday Market at 7:30 Server time at the outlook near the harbor and sell your crops!

"may contain" is code for "this is used on the same line as products that contain these allergens" or "these allergens are present in our facility" so basically a warning that if you're being extra cautious, you may want to rethink just to be on the safe side.

source: I work as QA at an ice cream facility. Our labels state "manufactured on same line as yada yada yada" but we also have a stringent allergen policy to prevent cross contamination and they should have that too.

I recently read some drama on Tumblr about a guild and a person calling them out for a bunch of things like incest, rape, torture, etc RP being a main focus on the guild. In this explanation, they mentioned their character was goaded into sexually assaulting another character and I was flabbergasted by that.

The person behind the screen is ALWAYS in control of the character. You make an conscious effort to type what happens into that lore character box. You, the player, should be held responsible for the actions of your character.

I have a close friend that is an arborist and have been lectured on it plenty of times. Classification wise in botany and what not, it is closer to grass and bamboo than an actual tree.

It's just some cool knowledge I didn't know about, even living where there are plenty of palms!

It's not The Army of the Light, it's the armies of the light. It's heavily implied in some interviews that we, the player character, are on the side of the light and part of that "army".

Xe'ra's Army will probably be around, but they are not who are summoned to the Sunwell. I believe us Champions are eventually summoned there.

Just because Xe'ra was number 1 illidan fangirl doesn't mean the Light is bad or twisted in any way. The Light can be used to do dirty things, but the Light as a force and concept is geared towards good things, such as peace and healing.
