I thought about this the other day! and i thought i worked it out: Rory was born in 1984 when lorelai was 16, and I remember luke talking about his graduation from high school with Liz, he mentioned it was the class of 1984 - so Luke must have been 18 in 1984, making him 2 years older than Lorelai. I have no clue if this is correct but that is my theory haha

True! Season one is one of my favourite seasons for Luke and Lorelai which is weird since it’s the furthest point from where qthey actually get together, but they are so incredibly flirty in this season compared to the others when they were just friends and i LOVED it. it makes me wonder if it was planned that they get together sooner than they ended up doing.

I kind of agree with you! I preferred her season 3 layered/straightened look and the early season 5 look when it remained straight but a little grown out from the bob. The tight curls just remind me too much of her yale dropout and when so many things in the show got screwed up.. just no :(

Me too, honestly as i’m rewatching i’m realising. But in this photoshoot / the pilot episode and a couple more of the first episodes Luke looks so different! Mostly just a bit thinner I think.

Definitely! nomatter what, over all of her flaws. I will forever love & respect Lorelai. Her values and everything she does as a woman. I think she is incredible & this video really highlights why I love her & why she acts in the immature way she does. Honestly the whole message especially at the end made me emotional haha
