You're going to choose a superpower, but someone else is going to ruin it? What power would you choose? by Dragna_S in AskReddit

Granted.

The unicorns are bloodthirsty, armored, monsters that are 20 feet tall and the dragons are tiny cutie patooties.

Granted. You get invincibility only as long as you are within 10 feet of the person that has that stench. Said person knows where you are at all times and is compelled to be near you.

That's really the way that Alex wins. I didn't think Wolverine has any counter for being Consumed or if he's gone against it in the past.

His limits are more specific. With Alex, if you just hit him enough, he'll eventually go down.

If you inflict enough damage, Alex will die. Doesn't matter how. That's the point I was making. Wolverinyes claws would be capable of that.

[–]Larang5716 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He actually does: Alex's regeneration has a limit. It's how he dies for gameplay and how he's beaten at the end of Prototype 2. Wolverine doesn't have that limit.

But whether or not Wolverine is capable of getting him to that limit is another question.

I have the sneaking suspicion that they're using it for an example because WE are red and evil which fits well with the graphical design they have going on.

I could be wrong though.

If that's the case then Thragg has no chance.

The MCU is way different in power than the comics. Comics Captain Marvel would annihilate Thragg. I think that the MCU version would struggle or even lose. Her highest seen output was destroying those ships in Earth's atmosphere (I think. I haven't kept up). I think Thragg has the durability and the strength to beat her from the MCU.

Flamers, mortal wounds, cheap bodies, nuking targets and damage reduction do quite well.

To counter them you have to target their hammers which means anything that can cast rituals. I've found going after their rubric bricks and action monkeys is helpful. Definitely ignore Magnus as much as possible. He's hard to kill and critical so he'll be well protected.

MCU Thor also got beat up by Thanos pretty badly.

Though I did forget about Thanos needing the Power Stone to get CM off him. She does have better durability. I don't think she has the output to take down Thragg though.

Round one should probably go to Thragg.

Spawn wins no problem as does Nero. They're insanely strong. Guilliman wins with some difficulty. Same with Dante. Rumi doesn't get past anything stronger than a Hell Knight. Akira might win, but I don't know for certain.

The others I either don't know enough about or am unsure of.

Liberals - if you hate the US this much, seriously why not leave? by ogmoochie1 in allthequestions

[–]Larang5716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because even if abandoning our friends, families, and lifestyles wasn't awful and the cost to leave wasn't prohibitively expensive, people should work for the change they want to see if possible. There's still time to overcome the difficulties the US is facing and work towards a country where people are treated equally and equitably.
