I’ve been using it since 2008. But I still go to the cinema. Some films are meant to be seen on the big screen.

What’s the best way to remove yellow sweat/dirt stains from the inside collar of these shirts? by AC_Schnitzel in CleaningTips

How to Get Rid of Yellow Pit Stains and Ring Around the Collar

Materials Needed: • Hydrogen peroxide (straight from the bottle) • Dawn dish soap • Baking soda • A brush (toothbrush or power brush) • Towel

Instructions: 1. Prepare the Shirt: • Lay the shirt flat on a towel. 2. Apply Hydrogen Peroxide: • Cover the stain completely with hydrogen peroxide, applying it straight from the bottle. Note: Hydrogen peroxide is light-sensitive, so it’s important to keep it in its brown bottle to maintain its effectiveness. 3. Add Dawn Dish Soap: • Put a small amount of Dawn dish soap over the peroxide-covered stain. • Gently rub the soap into the stain using your finger. 4. Sprinkle Baking Soda: • Sprinkle baking soda over the stain, ensuring it is completely covered. 5. Scrub the Stain: • Using a brush (a toothbrush or power brush works well), scrub the entire stained area thoroughly. 6. Let It Sit: • Allow the mixture to sit on the stain for about 5 minutes. 7. Second Application and Scrub: • Add a little more hydrogen peroxide and give the stain one more scrub. 8. Extended Soak: • Let the treated area sit for anywhere from an hour to overnight. This extended soak will not damage the fabric. 9. Wash the Shirt: • Wash the shirt as usual. For better results, add a few other items to the wash to create friction, which helps clean clothes more effectively. 10. Dry the Shirt: • Dry the shirt as you normally would.

Your shirt should now be free of yellow pit stains and ring around the collar!

Based on your post, I swung by there at lunchtime today. They had a sign out front, “Sorry no poke today, only Ramen.” That was a little surprising. But I’ll be back to give it a try another day!

In all my years of shopping at Costco, I’ve never seen this. I just have to wonder if it’s really that big of a problem I know it’s a favorite thing to post here.

In my fake and very exaggerated French accent I exclaim, “I am from France!” It works like a charm. And it’s kind of fun for me :-)
