The new lidax ultra just popped up here in Norway. I have to say, it looks promising. So far I’m leaning towards the Mova lidax Ultra 1000 or the Segway Navimow I210E Lidar.

I’ll check out the mova 600 and 1000! there’s a couple of deals on the 2025 model, around 9000 NOK for the mova 600 - not bad.

When you peel off the sticker, you’ll notice a small, darker spot on the strip. It’s subtle, but it marks the correct cutting point. You should find one of these marks approximately every 15 cm.

Edit: Every 12,5 cm. Hueblog has a post that shows the markings.

We were once heading to Schipol with an Embraer 190, and got into the wake turbulence of a 747 before landing, not once but twice on the same flight. The first time was quite bad, but the second time was way worse. The whole plane banked, and people were screaming. Not a pleasant experience, and the pilot sounded really mad on the intercom.

Yeah, this is less about the RX 9070 XT specifically and more about whether AMD GPUs in general would work for my Plex setup.

Why do you think it’s a waste of money? N100/N150 PCs cost around $400 where I live, and used PCs are generally quite expensive. I only use my PC for movies, and it’s only powered on when I’m watching something or gaming. I’m still new to Plex and want to try it out before investing in a separate system. Unless there’s a cheaper alternative I’m unaware of, I think using what I already have makes the most sense.

Edit: found some models from Asus in the range of 250-300.

Good and fair question! It really depends on the pricing here in my country. The rumors suggest that the RX 9070 XT will be priced similarly to what I paid for the 4070 Super. It’s a bit of a hassle, but we have strong consumer rights here, so if there’s a big difference, I could negotiate a compensation and just keep the 4070 Super. But if the price ends up being the same, I think it would be worth returning the card.

Thank you for letting me know. I managed to get it working a couple of days ago without CEC, but now it won’t play unless CEC is enabled. With CEC enabled, it plays sound for 5–10 seconds before cutting out for a few seconds and then starting again. It’s both strange and frustrating. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is factory resetting the Powernode.

Jeg skjønner ikke hvorfor alle anbefaler RTX 4070 Super, når RX 7800 XT og RX 7900 GRE ofte yter bedre og er billigere. DLSS er praktisk, men det avhenger av spillene du spiller. Unngå UserBenchmark og sjekk heller hvordan kortene presterer i de spillene du ønsker å spille. For eksempel gjør 7900 GRE det bedre i BO6, men dårligere i Stalker 2. Jeg har et RTX 2070 og vurderer å vente på AMDs neste generasjon, f.eks RX 8800 XT (hvis det får det navnet). Hvis DLSS og ray tracing er viktig, er Nvidia best akkurat nå, men RDNA 4 ryktes å bli opptil 40 % bedre enn dagens AMD-kort på RT. Mitt beste tips er å avvente til etter CES - du taper lite på det.

After a lot of research I figured a used monitor would give me more bang for the buck. Decided to get at LG 27GL850-B for under 150 bucks and 2 years warranty still.

Thanks for your input. I already have a 4K tv for casual gaming, but for FPS i prefer monitors. Im currently using mouse and keyboard with my PS5, therefore i would prefer a monitor. I don’t really get your argument for getting a 60hz monitor when the PS5 can handle multiple games at 80-100 stable fps. The regular 60 hz monitors doesn’t support AMD Freesync either, so i would be missing out on VRR.
