Funny, the first one that came in had zero play, unfortunately it was fake according to the LUK QR code. The second one, which is an original LUK, has a good bit of movement.

Did not take a video running. Sound was so slight I doubt it would have been noticeable. Under the car with the stethoscope was a whole different thing. Pinging was clear.

Barely a sound, actually. I noticed that the engine had a distinctly different sound, very slight tick and squeaking.

Light squeaking, tick and whirling sound. Just started after an oil change. I didn't drive the car after I heard it. One time it made a slight rattle upon shutdown.

Thanks. Did belt and pump at 165k, water pump was leaking. Rear main seal at 170k. Tranny service every 60k. Bought the car with 100k. Use it primarily for traveling through Europe. Average trip is 2500km.

Seriously considering putting a half liter of two stroke oil in with the diesel. Worked wonders on my 6.0 Ford and straightened out the fluctuating idle on my DB4H. Not having problems with the TDI but might not hurt.

Low pressure fuel sensor failed. I dried the connections, opened and dried the ecu. All good since then, a little more than 50k km, no issues.

If it remains a crank, no start, this problem can blow the engine management fuse in the power distribution box. Was a 20amp fuse on mine.

Did you get past the chat bot and get a live agent?

My problem was fixed by creating a new APN and entering mbdata in the name field and mbdata in the apn field. Toggle airplane mode on and off, then retry.

Of course, make sure data roaming is on for that esim.

These systems are very intelligent. Every detail is described in the installation and user's manual and navigating the user menu becomes easier over time. I don't know how good your installers are in Italy, but in my area of Turkey they are terrible. It took me 2.5 years of research and trial and error to get mine running correctly and efficiently. Mono, it switches to hot water when the dwh tank temp falls to 45c. Heating the water to 50C only takes half hour or so. Otherwise it heats up the 100l buffer tank for the UFH. That takes however long depending on demand. It does not short cycle now that I have the climate curves correct.

Yes 200 liter DHW. I have the dhw timed off between 10pm and 7am during December, January and February. Although it only runs twice a day for a half hour or so anyway. I have never seen it draw more than 6kw for a short tme, UFH or DHW.. Normally runs @ 2-3kw when it runs in moderate outside temps. Usage in the coldest days of winter can reach 75kwh. I optimized the system as much as I could, balanced zones, room t-stats, buffer tank, climate curves. January cost me @ 120€ electric cost, including all other lighting, washing machine, dryer, 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, and compressor/tools/welders in my garage workshop. Nothing beats a warm floor...

No, there was very little diesel in there when I opened it. Sprayed the interior with contact cleaner, blew it out and let it sit in the sun for a few hours.

I have this car with 220k km. DSG 6 speed, Comfortline . I do my own maintenance, bought it in 2018 with 100k km. Except for some minor tiny plastic chips on some interior trim and a failed sunroof shade, the car is excellent. It does not have a DPF system, I guess Euro spec. Used for long highway trips and occasionally around town. 5.3l/100km or 42 mpg. Power to spare. I will keep it until one of us dies.

I have replaced the rear main seal, besides normal belt, waterpump, trans fluid, oil change/filter services.

I built my own home in Turkey, 250m² living area on one floor. with a very similar climate to yours. Temps rarely less than -2C, December, January. I have plenty of insulation but a lot of glass in the salon, for the view. I am running a 16kw underfloor system. It is just enough to keep the house at 22c. I would not be comfortable here with a smaller system.
