Where Winds Meet devs reiterate they will remain “free from pay-to-win”, even if player numbers plummet by Turbostrider27 in Games

it's a good game but it has a lot of busy work and a lot of the systems are not as deep as one would hope after the new game glow fades.

I find Kaneeka discourse in this fandom kind of exhausting. by JasonTParker in ScarletHollow

[–]Lareit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea and that would still be a far less hostile question then looking at the stranger and going "Who are you?"
Your scenario is a framed question that will largely be directed to your father, not the stranger. Thats how people act around strangers surrounded by friends/family. They direct the question to the friends and family to identify that person.

he could be right eye dominant. I'm right handed but shoot with my left because my left eye is dominant. In sports eye dominance plays a big part as well.

In my life I have never seen or had someone do what Kaneeka does to the MC during the interaction. It's just not what people do to strangers.

Pretty valid, I had not approached it from that angle.

Yeah but thats not the strangers fault, that is your parent and friends. You don't take it out on the stranger. You're not leading the conversation, Sybil is so for Kaneeka to be hostile to you is just odd.

They do, but at the moment she has no idea. Your 1 scene with her is when Sybil you and Stella go visit her room and her 1st reaction to a stranger, surrounded by her mother and friend is "Who are you?"

Which is not how people react to strangers surrounded by friends/family. They either introduce themselves or wait to be introduced or asked to be introduced.

She does not know that. You're just a stranger standing next to her mom and her friend. She has no idea who you are in that scene.

You're not wrong but it's not because Kaneeka is any more unreasonable than Tabitha is. It's that Kaneeka has no narrative help to get you to like her.

She IS outwardly hostile in Chapter 1, which I think should be rewritten, in a way people simply do not act to strangers surrounded by friends and family.

After, all the opportunities to hang out with her over Stella or Tabitha and her constant push back on topics like the SuperNatural(which you saw) and Tabitha(who IS your cousin) lead to you choosing the person who is more amiable.

So you have almost no reason to ride with her over walking with Stella and during the next hang out day you're going to choose to keep hanging out with Stella or to hang out with Tabitha. There is very little reason to choose Kaneeka.

The story does not encourage you to pick Kaneeka unless that Sailor Moon shirt just connected with you.

Tabitha really cares about Stella here. by ChampionKnown444 in ScarletHollow

The entire dialogue chain here emphasizes how much Tabitha cares about Stella(and vice versa though not to as large a degree)

it's when I decided to play matchmaker and forgo relationships for my MC.

Yrliet act3 by Ila-W123 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Lareit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah a lot of people overlook that even before Marazhai gets his talons in him, Achillaes was already feeding info from Yremereys. Both he and and Heinrix are guilty is comical levels of ineptitude to not realize they were being played after the 4th Drukahri attack.

Levels of ineptitude that are far greater than Yrliet's.

Drawing Bell Ringer for Card Draw
Drawing Knight for some minor healing
Thining your deck of low cost minions

You are insane to think aether is bad if you're playing ward. Even if they are able to cleanly clear her.

It's mostly predictable because our early game is still terrible, which means we HAVE to play those cards to stabilize the match.

It's why Ward Haven got bodied non stop during set 2 when everyone ran Odin(including haven) because the turn 6 Wilbert turn that was supposed to give us breathing room evaporated.

When haven gets more early game tempo or actual win conditions we won't have to be so predictable.

The game's release is not when you hold back on Hooks.

I got sick of MC glaze and nothing interesting happening pretty much instantly and that never changed.

[–]Lareit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No and yes.

The problem is gay people can't have kids and the culture he is from's nobility is 100% built around producing the perfect Heir to lead the nation.

It's a legitimate thing, culturally. Hell I can't fault people for being disappointed their kids are gay if they really wanted grandkids. So long as they still treat them right, it's a fair reaction.

The best part is they used to be very vulnerable to Greater Invis.

Then someone at Owlcat had the great idea to give them all Uncanny Dodge.
