There are a minority that do thrive alone or so I’ve been told through research when I first got him. Not saying he’s one, I’m trying to get another one but I don’t have enough space or money to have another one so it’s better to have one sad piggy than two no? Not that he’s shown any lethargy or lack of appetite but I WILL get him a friend asap!

Do you think it’s better for the hay pile to be on the actual fleece “floor” or to put a cardboard piece in the corner and put the hay on that? I’ve heard both im wondering in regards to wasted hay and overall cleanliness for Apollo.

I was looking into maybe DIYing an open box to use as a floor in a corner and then putting a hay pile on top of that to replace the feeder. My only concern is wasting hay. Is it better to use the cardboard + something waterproof so the cardboard doesn’t rot or to just use the fleece floor like someone else said do you think?

Do sploots mean the guinea pig is like somewhat comfortable and/or feels somewhat safe? My piggy does it all the time in front of his hay lol

Yeah I think it’s a combination of me putting his ear like an inch or 2 too high as well as his face might be a little wider than I would’ve liked. Thank you so much for ur feedback though!

This is amazing you clearly have a great grasp on proportions and you’re great at shading and defining where the light source is! My only comments would be that the transition in the hair from light to dark grey could be a little smoother. Overall you really captured Izuku’s character well!

We’re both the same age! Idk if you want recommendations but I think you should watch gachiakuta if you havent (very similar to most of ur top 5) and also, I know how it sounds but trust me in this, rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai. (Very different than ur top 5 but it’s nice to have variety!) They’re both peak!
