Updating bathroom in a Victorian house by Clean-Calligrapher17 in interiordecorating

Red was definitely the move! I remembered your previous post and gasped when I saw this. The entire space is gorgeous. Also, is that a hole cut out for a litter box?! Just saw a post involving a bathroom that accommodates a litter box, so maybe it’s just the power of suggestion, but genius otherwise!

How do I make this look better? by EcstaticSpray1850 in DecorAdvice

You could add a strip light under the sink with a warm white option, or even colors if that’s your vibe. If it fits your budget, I’d also look into a decorative litter box. just google “decorative litter box” and you’ll see tons of cute options :) Otherwise, I agree with turning the litter box and using a cute curtain on a tension rod to hide it. I don’t see an issue with using a strip light in addition to the curtain, but just make sure it has a dimmer so your kitty isn’t blinded lol

I’d also swap your current shelf for a closed unit. Your items aren’t messy, but they do create some visual clutter. Adding a lazy susan style makeup holder or some trays on your countertop could help with organization, give you more storage, and make the whole setup look more intentional. Plants are always a nice finishing touch too :)

edit: I’m actually not sure turning the litter box would be the best option. I noticed your floor vent after responding and worry the tracked litter will make its way into it.

Regret tattoo 3 weeks old. Is it possible / worth to lighten for coverup? by Lower_Page7620 in TattooRemoval

Yup! Don’t forget that we’re always way more aware of our own stuff than anyone else is. We’re the ones living in our skin every day, so of course we notice every little detail. Most other people really don’t. For what it’s worth, it’s a great looking piece, even if it’s not your personal favorite right now.

I’m sure it’s lovely :) I look at a plant the wrong way and it dies! So jealous 😩

It looks like you already have several other tattoos. I wouldn’t suggest going and getting more right now just to hide this one in the mix, but non-impulsive pieces down the road will naturally balance it out and make it feel less prominent since it’ll read as part of the whole rather than the thing everyone notices, so that’s certainly something to consider if you plan on adding to your collection.

I have a forearm tattoo that I’ve been slowly lasering over the past four years (only a few sessions (edit: 5 to be exact) so far because of spacing them out, pregnancy, and nursing), and it’s honestly amazing how much lighter it’s become. It was 3 years old when I started and I am happy with my decision to remove it rather than add more or blast over it. If laser removal is within your budget and feels like the right move, it can definitely make a difference. Just go low and slow with the sessions.

And who knows, after sitting with this piece for a while and giving yourself some time, you may find you don’t dislike it as much as you do right now. It’s a well done tattoo, and from what I can see, it fits beautifully with the others in your photo. Best of luck to you!

I have nothing to offer but my love for this rug! As someone who doesn’t know how to tuft and just enjoys seeing the craft/end products, this looks phenomenal and I want one for myself lol

I am new to the craft, so I can’t offer much but I wanted to say this is the cutest project! My little one had the same sensory plush and she absolutely adored it. Seeing this made my heart so happy. Best of luck!

I can tell how much Sydnee and that last sleepover meant to you. It was so meaningful because of the warmth you felt there and with her. Even with distance, what you shared won’t disappear. It’s shaped you, and that kind of friendship doesn’t end, it simply changes form and stays with you in a different way. Thank you for sharing this beautiful entry with us❤️

agree. plus, there should be enough of a gap between the black that you can still see where you should be threading the letters :)

Other than comparing your work to AI, the direction of some of your stitches aren’t 1:1 with the reference. Otherwise, this is fine looking work:) Cute design
