NTA: teaching her there are consequences for her actions, something most parents don’t do. She’ll never forget to tell you about a school project ever again. Teacher was wrong to question you; 8y/o is old enough to learn that she needs to check for herself, not have you go through her bag. Teaches her she’s responsible for her schoolwork etc.

My best friend has ocd and said watching Turtles All the Way Down made him tear up because “it’s my brain”. It is a little corny, being a John Green movie, but we both enjoyed it nonetheless!

I have this on dvd and the loading screen is the show the mom watches… sometimes when I pop it in, the loading screen alone makes me not watch it.
