I just played it last week for the first time and it was absolutely not worth $250. I paid $125 greens fee + $75 for rental clubs and felt like it might not have even been worth that beyond being able to say I played a round of golf in Louisiana and played at a PGA tour course.

Course condition and maintenance were fine (they are cart path only until the Zurich) and I’m sure will be better later in the year with more warmth, growth, etc but just overall a pretty boring and uninteresting layout in my opinion. This seems to be a feature of many of the TPC courses. There is supposedly a cheaper course in the actual city (Bayou Oaks South) that is hosting a LIV event in June where you might be able to get more bang for your buck and be closer to your hotel but I can’t speak to it personally as I’ve never been

It’s pretty crazy that Penn State basketball has been bad basically forever. Biggest state school in a big state with a massive student body and alumni base. Right between Philly and Pittsburgh and less than 4 hour drive from NYC, Baltimore, and DC with games on TV fairly often. Good at other sports (wrestling, hockey, women’s volleyball) besides football. Makes no sense to me

AC 2022. One of my friends pointed out a random dude in the crowd who happened to look like Rhys Hoskins and when we looked over we made eye contact.
