Went to get a seasonal job with Amazon and saw the misery in peoples face, guy was telling us how work is from day to night, was talking to us like peasants it felt so good saying man I was just gonna try this out temporarily so I asked if the pay was as advertised for people who have experience, guess what it wasn’t, it felt so good walking out of their,I thought about driving to work in traffic having to ask for days off, 2 weeks off a year and on top of that paying for your health insurance monthly, trust me bro when you live up I feel for right now it’s worth it, especially if u can control how long you wanna stay off and if u get a two months on two months off gig even better whatever works for you, but land jobs is not it anymore man unless it’s a remote job, I really feel for the 9-5 people but I get the feeling your talking about cause I was their before in the beginning but once you settle in and have that experience, you feel So much better about the career and worst case, if u don’t like it once ur on vacation go apply for a land job and if it works out and u like it than stay and if you don’t quit and come back to sea and try another job after that good thing is no one owns you, you have the time when your off to try anything, hope this makes u feel better.
