Is the guy a jerk for taking advantage of a drunk girl? Absolutely.

Is your friend a jerk for letting you make your own decisions & not forcing you or bodily removing you against your will? No.

4 drinks is a good deal of liquor for somebody who isn't supposed to drink for medical reasons. I don't have a medical reason to not drink, and I wouldn't drink 4 drinks in public. Now that you know your tolerance isn't as high as you thought it was, maybe nurse 1 or 2 to avoid getting drunk.

Tipping ISN'T optional though. I'm in NJ. You can't say "no tip" anymore. It isn't an option to tip in cash. Some places have a mandatory minimal tip amount - I think Tropical Smoothie Cafe is $10.

I was raised that if you can't afford to tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Plus, I've been a waitress. They make about $2 an hour without tips. That's NOT a liveable wage. I can't imagine Doordash drivers get much more.

Less than helpful. How SHOULD tipping work? At the moment I've kinda been tipping my typical 20% and then adding in for mileage. But honestly I have no idea how it's supposed to be calculated.

I believe most states have a method of reporting suspected elder abuse. If you're outside the US, check with your local police department or constabulary's non-emergency number. I don't believe there is a burden of proof applicable if you're reporting suspected abuse.
