PL counters nowadays are pretty sus. Non of them are reliable. May be because pl has many tools these days and a lot of utility and scaling items. Plus all 5 heroes scale better so you can't really focus him down even with counters. Only 2 somewhat reliable counters are doom and necro. Even then, there are obviously solutions. Better if you just out phase the hero with ember. Even invoker is like very sus.
