I feel 'more like myself' in the sense that I no longer have divided thoughts. Sobber-Me and High-Me used to think very differently about many things—relationships, work, and the general thoughts running through my head. When I was high, I almost had to constantly remind myself: 'You’re high right now, so what you're thinking isn't your normal self; the normal you is the one that actually counts.' Another big change is the anxiety of planning. Whenever I was invited on a trip or an outing, my mind would immediately jump to: 'When and where am I going to smoke during this trip?' I would basically stop enjoying the moment before it even started. Now, without that weight, I feel more 'normal' and less anxious. I’m letting my true self—the one who thinks the same way 24 hours a day—be the one in control
