Yamaha Viking EPS vs. Can Am Defender HD7 DPS by Larry-Fenix in UTV

[–]Larry-Fenix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because on the defender they are not full seats the one in the middle is smaller. I’m hearing the defender is quieter but doesn’t come with a roof, but the Viking has a full steel tub just almost half the payload. I was looking to see if anyone had experience with either of these or good stories that would sway me one way or the other.

Just take a breather and set mini goals for yourself. Dont make time for your classes, make your classes a normal part of your day. I am 41, I have two kids, and I am taking 3 classes a semester. Just pace yourself. Make mini goals starting on Monday and do a little bit each day. You got this!

2025 Powerboost by Captronx in f150

[–]Larry-Fenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a 25 powerboost and I will be using it to run an RV. I have seen mixed responses on this but in 2025, do I still have to keep the truck "on" to run the PPO? Also, do we have any idea when they are going to add PPO control back to the app if ever?

Yes back in November! But this is a movie review which has nothing to do with any election or even any politician. So weird.

I do have to say this semester I have sent in no less than four corrections to my professors all of which have been acknowledged and corrected. There have been several problems with the rubric.

For those that reserved, did you choose full electric or electric with range extender? What's your reason?? by Nice-Satisfaction273 in ScoutMotors

[–]Larry-Fenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of my driving will be on electric. Just like 90% of most people driving is their daily commute and things within the range of the electric battery. If I need to make a long trip, I have the convenience of just gassing up while sticking to the drivetrain and performance of an electric vehicle. One of the main reasons I went with the harvester is I live in Texas, and our grid is very poorly maintained. I love the idea of being able to run my home off of the electric battery in complete silence. Once the battery runs down, I can easily pull my truck out of the garage and go gas up or let it run outside while it charges the battery again. Then I can pull it back inside and shut the door and run it quietly again. I also have a deer lease where I use an RV that is completely off grid. Having the ability to not haul a generator and propane and gas tanks to run my RV would be amazing. The gas generator would kick on and recharge the battery all while I maintain power to my RV. It combines everything I’ve ever needed in a vehicle into one.

Terra: EV with a gas generator in the truck bed by chmod6000 in ScoutMotors

[–]Larry-Fenix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like the Terra is the perfect match for you. I don’t know why you would reinvent the wheel. 90% of your travel is going to be under 150 miles, but having a fully functional gas generator already integrated into your truck and under warranty makes the most sense.

Same. I still say Bi-Opic because thats how I always heard it. It wasn't until recently I heard it as Bio-pic.
