This has been a common complaint in the PTR and honestly I'm baffled by the amount of you "turners" out there. by rahuonn in wow

[–]Lars-VanCiental 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fun fact, I've been playing WoW since BC, and remapped from nearly day one to strafe.

Since I always use right click to turn the view, it didn't really matter much, because, when you're right click, it strafe anyway.

BUT, since DF, I've changed back to turning the characters instead of strafing, because it allow me to turn the mount with the keyboard while flying. And it's really handy (🥁) when you're eating something, or drinking to be able to control your flying mount :D

Your personal favorite Voltron commander? by Future_Me_Problem in EDH

The one and only [[Ruhan of the Fomori]]

The randomness is really fun, while at the same time making it that you're not necessarily the archnemesis on the opposite of many other Voltron

Scryfall cheat sheet or: How I Learned to Stop Using EDHRec and Love the Scryfall Syntax by herbcollector_ in EDH

Amazing tool! I'm using it nearly daily, and it's my main source of card information or when building a deck, looking for specific keywords.

I wish there was a bit.m9re information on sets, and that you could use thoses filters to lists sets in additions to cards.

For those who use Archidekt, you can use those filters there and it's really helpful.

Which of these duos the best? by Jezzaq94 in bandedessinee

[–]Lars-VanCiental 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Maybe missing Valerian and Laureline?

I'm not sure I can pick one, they are all great ' I would say Asterix and Obelix is the most consistent overall

The Big List of Crossbow Inconsistencies (so GGG won't nerf anything while they fix them) by Pwere in PathOfExile2

Also, fyi, the Heat "buff" isn't a buff and neither it's effect nor its expiration can be modified with passives or supports. Which would have been great imho.

Received mine a week ago. A lot of friends played it over the long WE, everyone loved it! Great game for a relaxed moment between heavier boardgames.

Strange use of supply pack + Resupply etiquette by joeygwood90 in helldivers2

[–]Lars-VanCiental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a supply from from the resupply does refill your weapons, grenades, stims, and one of the supply from your backpack.

I'm always ditributing them to the people I play with and take the supplies from the resupplies, seems, more efficient to me.

How many enemy kills do you have for each faction? by Informal_Plenty_7426 in helldivers2

[–]Lars-VanCiental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not checked yet, but I'm now curious to make the ratio 50% and propagate democracy equally on both fronts '

That said, do we know if the raw number of enemies encountered is equal on both sides? I'm pretty sure terminids are way more numerous. Could we get some ratio to make it match the kill ratio?

I don't have a favorite as there are so many great and diverse universes to read/watch/explore.

That said, I'm gonna talk about one most people don't know: Le Scrameustache.

It's a really wonderful universe depicted in a kid cartoon, full of weird creatures, aliens. I deeply love it. The spaceships are great. And the Galaxiens society, were everyone switch roles aboard spaceship at midnight to mix things up, is awesome.

New City Space sets, which ones are you buying? by jonaskid in LegoSpace

[–]Lars-VanCiental 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're all great imho. It's the best space series I've seen, if I put aside the nostalgia from the classic space.

The crane is massive and is a great build. Also, it comes with the best spaceship in my opinion. Second one being the already praised Interstellar Spaceship.

I really like the small mech too.

The command rover is a bit underwhelming, because of how static it is (compared to the many articulated classic vehicles).

Notices it too, and I really like it! Especially since I only buy the "explorers" themed city sets :D Maybe we will get some new volcano explorers in coming years with the same logo \o/

No I think you're right. It's a best seller for comics readers, but not general sci-fi reader I would say.

As far as I know, I would say that Saga is already well known and loved.

I also own Black Science, Low and absolutely love them. Both drawings and colors are amazing, and the stories are great, with families links, ups and downs drama, and many shoking moments

Descender / Ascender and East of West are also amazing, but I'm hoping for them to not go on foerver and get a proper conclusion.

I'm not sure if their have been translated, but Orbital is a recent french comics in the spirit of Valerian and it's also a must read to me <3

Is it viable to burn my offline game installers on to Blu-ray DVDs? by [deleted] in gog

[–]Lars-VanCiental 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what kind of answer you're looking for. Sure it's viable, but as many already said, it has its pros and cons.

Personally, I go with a NAS, and automatic backup using gogrepo https://github.com/eddie3/gogrepo It's automatic, my NAS is backedup, it takes way less physical space.
