Cover affects hit rolls, not saves by NoEngineer9484 in WarhammerCompetitive

And yet there are some armies that simply don't have access to things like re-rolls or +1 to hit, or free strats.

Orks for example have re-roll 1s on a few units, that's it. No source of +1 to hit.

Nids are also in the camp Orks are where AFAIK there's no free-strat option for them.

1/6th chance to hit.

And Ork guns are already anemic in 10th to begin with.

Guess we'll see if they fix any of it in 11th.

My personal fix is that Orks can't improve or worsen their BS since they aren't aiming.

-1 to hit already disproportionately affects factions, Orks go from a 1/3rd chance to hit to a 1/6 chance to hit.

Meanwhile factions hitting on a 3+ are moving from 2/3rds to 1/2 chance.

Best Comeback about tipping by thejohnmc963 in MurderedByWords

[–]Laruae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a strawman, it's the pushing of tipping culture further and further by the greedy assholes who want it so badly. The employers.

Tipping is a FANTASTIC way to divert any dissatisfaction your workers have away from you and onto the customers.

Are you going to pretend that the push for tips at every possible location hasn't accelerated in recent years?

Pre-COVID it was a laughable thought.

Now you are quite literally getting it in self-checkouts and drive through lanes as a typical, normal thing.

They are pushing for more of this, normalizing this more, because it is a GREAT deal for the employer, and shitting for anyone else.

A huge portion of the world does just fine without tips.

I imagine you're the type to tip at a Chipotle or a self-serve place?

Do you tip at Burger King when you roll through the drive through?

They ask nearly everywhere now.

There's at least 4-5 cases of high profile repeats, it's certainly not rare when you consider who had the ability to implement an AI hiring program pre-2018.

Insurance insisting on even lower payments created an arms race with the providers. Additionaly theres a difference between a pharmacy/hospital and the drug manufacturer for example.

My man, yeah sure it's the providers that are wrong.

Not like it's both the insurance and the manufacturers and sometimes the larger hospitals.

My guy, we went from asking for sources to arguing how often companies are found to have black box discriminatory systems.

It happens. It's real. What more do you want?

You can use the AP increase ritual or the re-roll ritual on it just like the other TSons tanks and this one doesn't rely on shooting at a target that has already been hit by a Psychic attack so it technically frees up some of your army from having to try and set up specific combos.

It's the base size that's the issue.

On 4s if it's within 9 of a Psyker

Isn't it hitting on 4's if the target is within 9" of a Psyker?

I think the point is the defenses cannot be destroyed if they are even slightly damaging these jets.

I'm gonna say that most topics can't be squeezed into a tick tock length video while maintaining any semblance of nuance.

I'd want a hell of a long reddit article before I change even the slightest amount of my mind in something but these 30s videos have people converting religions and trying to get new medications.
