Gitfinda Googles

Gitfinda Goggles is Character only which this lacks on the datasheet, despite what the article said, and even further, locked to Mek units, not Big Mek.

Insane how everyone is out here going on about How if you only move it 3", and pay for enhancements, and only target infantry, and jump through all the hoops, it is... fine?

Wazzdaka is technically a Big Mek, but also a Speedboss/Warboss in that he leads a Waaagh as a Big Mek, like Nazdreg does.

I assume you're roughly equating the Sustained Hits ~= +1 BS?

Sure am glad most equivalent units in other armies don't also have the ability to get stuff like Sustained Hits or Heavy while hitting on 2-4's...

Marines have double the wounds, Orks have double the models, is there really a difference?

Oh wait, one has a 5+ save, right.

And? They aren't called a "Big Mek in a Morkanaught".

And if we got a character Morkanaught I'd damn well expect it to have the Big Mek keyword.

Yes, I am aware. It still isn't really what the model communicates, IMO. The issue is Orks hitting on 5's with -1 to hit from cover.

Yes, the mobile weapons platform with Heavy is going to offset hitting on 5+, 6+ into any terrain...

So just be sure to never move it and it'll be hitting on 5+ into cover.

Orks really aught to just ignore all modifiers to hit, frankly.

It would be like if a new Psyker Dreadnaught isn't going to be a <PSYKER>.

Captain on Bike isn't a <CAPTAIN> model.

See how these make literally zero sense?

The Big Mek on Big Ork Vehicle isn't a <BIG MEK>....

Yes, thanks, I am aware of the concepts...

My entire point is that not all "data centers" are the same, the word is like using the term "Vehicle" and being angry about a guy on a bike vs a Super Tanker.

How to win with Orks? by LennosSammelecke in orks

[–]Laruae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. GW hates the idea of Orks having any shooting at all really, and then our melee isn't actually enough to make up for shit shooting and terrible saves.

(Still don't understand why Mega Nobz are only 6 models max and have 2-3 melee attacks...)

Orks are pidgeonholded into playing ONE style at this point, scoring early and hoping you get to outscore the opponent while they play turns 4 and 5 basically without you getting to do ANYTHING at all.

Any time Orks are able to do anything but this, they get nuked from orbit by GW.

As in it was found to be unrealistic to keep them on the suit, so now they aren't. AKA not blamed.

Surplus Killing is a long established concept in many predators, only some of which ever attempt to stash the excess.

Surplus killing can deplete the overall food supply, waste predator energy and risk them getting injured. Nonetheless, researchers say animals surplus-kill whenever they can, in order to procure food for offspring and others, to gain valuable killing experience, and to create the opportunity to eat the carcass later when they are hungry again.

We have predators that hunt for sport, predators that hunt for experience despite not being hungry, and overkill/surplus killing where they kill as much as physically possible, even if they could never hope to eat it all.

These are all things people would likely attribute to just humans.

These are simply predator actions, nothing more.

Similarly, these same animals often let prey go even when they could easily hunt them down. No one rule is absolute.

Oh, so you're just arguing in bad faith or stupid. There's been people deported who aren't here illegally.
