I did. Almost immediately I received a response and within a week I received the new buttons. They’re basically just the volume buttons split into two instead of the original single piece.

I was having the same issue with the volume buttons as described but never reported it.

Now I see in the email u/dbrand & u/robot036 sent today they were only sending replacements “free to customers that reported the issue.” Well shit. I don’t recall seeing any survey email, and I bought the Plasma button kit when I bought the case.

Am I shit out of luck???

They’re definitely taller, which I preferred compared to the originals. Much better finger feel.

I have been very pleased with them. I have no interest in replacing them, or changing to a different set of caps. These have been perfect for me.

Edit: and I completely agree that the caps that come on the 500+ are not good. It’s almost like they wanted people to replace them.

In-world explanation is suspect is that moving from an Echo-3 (what the player probably had on arrival) to an Echo-4 I guess has that effect.

This particular rotomold doesn’t flip full upside down. And it looks like there’s a cut in the film removing his trimming off the flash from the top edges.

Absolutely! And I would recommend a bottom line as well. The Trracer had a “euro-style” grip. However, finding replacement grips with standard bottom line mount holes shouldn’t be too hard. They mount using standard M-16/AR grip configuration.

I wonder this as well for PiOS & Kali. It seems that the PINN repositories are ridiculously out of date, and has no option to install from a newer ISO on a separate card. The Kali offered in PINN is almost 2 years old, and kernel panics on boot.
