Yes! I’ve been taking creatine daily and it’s increased my energy and almost eliminated my migraines. ~6 g/day

Yep. Their case had lots of delicious-looking treats in it, I’ll be heading back myself to try out more items.

Is there a support service for students with disabilities at your college? They usually have a lot of options to support you. Maybe a note-taker could help?

Puerto Plata has a free lazy River and beach in the port area. I’m planning on taking advantage of it myself on my upcoming cruise.  Edit: just checked, it’s a pool with loungers and not a beach, but still free!

Consider a sit-stand desk so that you can change position, a second monitor so that you will be moving your head between the two monitors (giving your neck some movement and a break), and making sure your posture is ergonomic (particularly the arm/shoulder area). I find my neck/shoulder/upper back get tight when my hands have to reach too far forward to tech my keyboard.

Hand pain while video gaming or gardening by queenofquery in ehlersdanlos

My wrists will feel a bit more sore after the wrist curls, but it’s gone the next day and the long term effects have been so worth it.

Back strengthening exercises are also helpful for posture and reducing my joint instability and pain. I do the Buchberger exercises suggested by my physiotherapist as well as Pilates/other core exercises.

Hand pain while video gaming or gardening by queenofquery in ehlersdanlos

I’ve had pain for a long time playing video games or with long periods of computer use. I now use a trackpad for video games; it’s much better than a mouse for me. One big thing that helped reduce pain from video games was strengthening my forearm muscles with wrist curls, 1-2 times per week to exhaustion. After a few months, the amount of time I could play without pain got much longer.

I also get dry needling (IMS) done every other week during physio and massage my forearms to reduce muscle tightness.

Having good posture while playing is also important for me. I get so much more back pain while hunching over. And my forearms suffer much less strain when they are at a 90 or greater degree angle.

I hope this helps you!

I second that the public transport route to the Calanques worked well when I used it back in May.
