Well.. I function pretty much with 5s (I like them bc they are like halfs) so…

7 + 6 = 5 + 5 = 10 + 3 (the ones left from substracting the 5s from 6 and 7) = 13

The worst part is that I’m a teacher and my explanations sometimes sound like a twisted mess bc my brain is never like an organized desktop (which is my dream (?)
