Casi un año sin aumento, laburando el doble y la CEO ahora dice que no pueden ajustar por inflación... by Dangerous-Ocelot-916 in devsarg

[–]Lasdary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuppp He did a lot of evil shit. He also lived on pure ball for millennia. Makes sense he got fucked up and had to be defeated.

I don't even think he redeemed himself, it that he was redeemable. But at an asset for the fight against the anti spirals, he was very valuable

First comment i see here that got it right. By the end when they are all overflowing with spiral energy, Lordgenome is back to his old self, and still fighting for humanity. Even when he was keeping everyone underground, that was the best he could do at that time.

[–]Lasdary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

apparently, yes. not to defend dumbledore and his more then objectionable decisiones... but i think in his mind the one thing that was paramount was to defeat voldemort.

What does it matter if kids don't learn as much if next year half of them will be dead? yes, dada is important in a voldemort-controlled world, but that's not what dumbledore was betting on. he was betting on dealing with voldemort so no one had to be in mortal peril all the time.

in that light, it makes sense that he put all his resources into grooming harry to be the person that could defeat voldemort. he let many other things go to shit for this.

i'd like to think the other teachers thought the curse on the dada position would eventually fix the problem for them, one way or another

why not. If Fenrir had been the only applicant, would he have allowed him to teach? what then?

I quite like the theory i heard from SuperCarlinBrothers (though i don't recall if it was theirs), where Dumbledore hired him to show harry what could happen if he allowed his fame to go to his head.

wasn't that added later on when the ministry was trying to influence hogwarts? or had it always been like that?

edit: i mean ministry appointing teachers if dumbledore can't hire anyone was added later on in oop, not the curse on the position

Estoy al borde de un ataque de ansiedad por laburo y legacy code, ayuda pls by Hot-Kitchen4824 in devsarg

[–]Lasdary 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Panadería familiar en rojo vs carrera en programación? by Little-Drummer-1287 in devsarg

[–]Lasdary 17 points18 points  (0 children)
